Clockwork Universe

In this scene, Jeffery begins to question God's "precise design".

"You have unlimited power, so you need the universe to run automatically to what end?" ~ Jeffery

Gods Behave Like Their Makers

For this animation, I had to draw God and Jeffery from many different angles, 3/4, front, side, & back and animate each instance separately, including animating their shadows and reflections. That's part of the reason this one is taking a bit longer.

God's Borders

In this scene, Jeffery explains how man-made cultural boundaries shouldn't affect an omnipresent god, yet they do, thereby making Yahweh seem like every other invented god, who spreads only as the believers spread.

God & Jeffery Survey the Middle East

I'm really proud of how this animation is turning out so far. It has the potential to be my strongest work yet, in terms of both animation and rhetoric. God (left) shares his plans with Jeffery (right), but Jeffery already knows. At this point, Jeffery begins to describe some dire flaws with God's plan, beginning with basic geography.

My next animation...

...is going to be a bit experimental. If I pull it off, it will be amazing; if I don't, then I'll live and learn. This one will be a serious examination of God's relation to His creation. God and Jeffery are going to more accurately resemble their personalities in this one, with Jeffery as an adult and God as a child. The script has been difficult to refine, but I'm mostly happy with it (needs a bit more refinement), so I think this will happen if I can pull off the required animation, which wil...

Not-Muhammad Plays Fallout 4

I uploaded a silly new video today, but I won't apply any Patreon funding for this one for a couple reasons. It only took a couple days to make and it doesn't really make any points; it's just for fun and comedy. Also, I already have a funded video for this month, so I'm reluctant to add another unless it is more meaningful than this one. Thank you so much for your continued support! Why is Murder Wrong?

Perhaps due to plain ignorance or emotional bias, many religious folks think and spout divine command theory as if it hadn’t been soundly defeated thousands of years ago. The funny result is that theists are often operating under the misapprehension that atheists cannot account for morality, when in actuality, it’s exactly the reverse.

Thank you, patrons, for making it possible for me to devote the time needed to make these animations. It means the world to me, and judging from the man...

Sneak Peek of "Why is Murder Wrong?"

After an argument with Jesus regarding a murderer getting into heaven (while his victim goes to hell), Jeffery is told to resolve the issue with God, but God is indisposed at the time. This scene involves Jeffery's intrusion into God's private affairs, before having a rather involved philosophical debate with God regarding Euthyphro's Dilemma.

Yes or No to Sneak Peeks?

Since I started on Patreon, I've never privately shared parts of animations I'm currently working on. I was wondering if that would be something you'd like to see, or if you'd rather just watch the finished product along with everyone else. Currently, I have a one-and-a-half minute scene rendered in case you'd like a sneak peek of my next upload - patrons only. Of course it will be a free post. It's just to share for fun and feedback. I'll check back tomorrow to see what you say. Your support ha...

Carried Away

Sometimes I think of a little scene that would be funny, so I write it in the script, forgetting to consider how much work it would be. For instance, this scene won't be very long (maybe 20 seconds), but it amounted to a couple days worth of work. Who can guess what's going on in this scene?

This is a scene from my next cartoon, currently in the works. You think Jeffery still finds a way in?

Taking on annoying arguments

Thanks for encouraging me to follow through with that script I posted. The new video saw over a quarter of a million views in less than a week, and brought in over 6,000 new subscribers so far. I wrote a rough first draft for that video all the way back when I made that Star Trek cartoon. I was just unsure about it, though it ended up outperforming the Star Trek one.

I've been working on a script that tackles that annoying argument every non-believer is eventually hit with: "Why is murder ...

Video script

On my last post here, I described a video idea I had and asked if you thought it would be worthwhile. Some of you came up with legitimate concerns that it was very similar to my "If God Were A Car" video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qahB7mYhLxs). I hadn't thought of that. Sometimes ideas reformulate and I don't realize it's stuff I already covered (the car video was 5 years ago). The video approaches a diff...

New video idea

I've been toiling over the Revelation cartoon much to no avail. I'm not happy with it and I can't in good conscience post something I think is inadequate. So, I've put it on the back burner, in hopes that I'll come up with some ideas in the future that will improve the script.

On the other hand, I'm just about done with a different script, which I think is more promising. It's about a guy who goes into a real estate office to shop for a house, and he is presented with a mansion which he is...

Next animation (possibly)

Over the years, I've gotten a lot of requests to do The Book of Revelation. I think it would take an enormous amount of work to get it right, as it would have so many unique assets. I'd also have to figure out how to "translate" it into a comedic cartoon format. I'm thinking it should start with the writer (the Apostle John, many believe), stumbling into an innocent-looking patch of mushrooms. If I begin writing now, perhaps it could be done around this time next month, but it's still too early ...

God's Top 10 Life Hacks

Thanks for providing me with such great feedback. I was able to use a lot of your suggestions and I think it turned out pretty well.

View Post

God's Life Hacks

I've been working on a script for an old fashioned God & Jeffery video in which God jumps on the top 10 list craze and comes up with 10 life hacks for his youtube video. Of course, the life hacks are completely outlandish and unreasonable, as given by God Himself and informed by the bible at times. I've written a few life hacks, and I don't know if God and Jeffery will make it though all 10 the way things are going, but I thought it would be a good idea to give my patrons a shot at including...

This is the very beginning of Eden. I animated this tree growing branch by branch. It was not easy.

The Descent

In this scene, Yahweh's subconscious influence to create the devil is greatly affected by what happens between his father, and the woman in the middle, named Autumn. For this reason, I chose to have the scene in a descending elevator, an "express elevator to hell", if you will. I chose to name her Autumn, because it means "fall". I made it a glass elevator, so you can see the outside world rising behind them, which in my opinion,  is a better way to convey that they're going down, rather th...

The Devil Takes Shape

In this scene, we see one of the ways Yahweh’s idea for the devil takes shape. I used more symbolism here to convey the message. It’s what actually occurs in this scene, however, that actually shapes what the devil is in the bible. Beyond that, the symbolism isn’t scriptural alone, but cultural too. Notice that Yahweh relaxes in his dad’s office, which is pretty high above everyone, reading on the computer. Daryl, who is summoned to a meeting there, plays a part that subconsciously shape...

Examples of Symbolism

Just as an example of how I sometimes specifically arrange elements in a scene to convey a message: here, you see Lucy Fur, dressed in white, symbolizing good, an angel. She’s riding the red bike, however, her means of locomotion, and her helmet is red, which symbolizes a rebellious mind. Notice that she is placed at the bottom of the scene, as the devil, while above “Sky City” you see everyone else, in their lighter colored vehicles, symbolizing heaven. The giant city bridge separates her...

My Rick Perry cartoon is coming out tomorrow night. I'm sorry I didn't upload any images as I worked on it, but this one has only a couple settings and characters, half of which would've been a major spoiler (it's quite epic). That's also the reason I was able to get it done so soon. Usually I don't upload twice in a month.

Animations to come...

I've been working on my next 3 cartoons. I'm fairly certain they will be done in this order: 1. A brand new Rick Perry for president 2016 campaign commercial parody (harkening back to that terrible "Strong" commercial he did in 2011) 2. "God's Best Idea" (Power Corrupts Episode 4), which is about the creation of the devil, and 3. A more artistic animation with no dialogue that attempts to illustrate the difference between equality of opportunity and equality of outcome (I'm still questioning abo...

Just finished drawing all the assets for my next cartoon. Also, I got some new audio equipment, professional stuff. I got a mixer, condenser microphone, pop filter, and I upgraded my animation software. Thank you all very much for helping me improve my production quality. Instead of my usual crappy audio, it will now be broadcast standard. Unfortunately, despite the upgrades, it's probably not possible for current technology to fully convey the true sexiness of my voice. Apologies.

Tom Cruise and Paul Walker

These guys have more distinguishing features than Keanu, so they were way easier to draw. I still have to draw Kevin Costner and Jake Sully. If you can figure out what unites all these people, I will be impressed.
