This weeks been overall busy. as its usually is after a major build. i've gotten a ton of feedback this week and im grateful for it. but now the planned feature list has grown. the first of these features is improved map generation. i switched from a random walk algorithm to binary partitioning. Update 0.3.2p: Shop and zoo are now open.

A problem with Length

So a couple of weeks ago a added real progression into my game. with the ability to go down deeper to encounter new enemies and more items. but when trying to add more enemies i noticed i'm getting a real problem with the length of the game.

You know, this was supposed to be a relatively small update. mainly because of the major build last week. but i put way more effort in this then i anticipated. just because of the question "what would you actually see if you examine yourself closely". here is the changelog for this update.

3 new Enemies

The Paradox of transformation based games

Its actually applies to any bad end theater type of games but its i find that its more potent in transformation based ones (mostly because i play alot of them). but the main issue is the idea that losing is the desired outcome. or at the very least that losing it where a majority of the content is. and likewise being skillful in these types of games means that you see less if it.

New build, artstyle change and general qol

A whole new build! this one is kinda of a housekeeping build. this build switches from the block based visual style to an ascii visual style. other then that there is some general quality of life stuff this update. here is the changelog.

Why SFW?

So as i'm sure you're aware im making a swf furry transformation game which if you look at this genre enough you would know that is pretty abnormal. the best game that i can think of which is mostly safe for work is probably changed. (according to itch there are only 12 games that have are both tagged as transformation and furry, but are sfw. compared to 78 if you allow adult content).

so the question is why is this one explicitly sfw.
