0.9.0 Update thoughts.

This is probably the largest updates i did. Alot of things happened in the last few months and it felt like i would never get this major update released. I still feel like i could have done more with the update but slightly proud of how far along things have went.

Alright, we have a new build. This time featuring NPCs as a new feature. New actually friendly residence of the dungeon that will sell you items. Only 2 of them for now but more will come in the future. But here is the full changelog for this update

/testspeed [enemy] Will give you your transformation speed and grade if you were to be transforming into a specific enemy.

spawns the specified enemy which will spawn it x and y tiles away from you.

Hello this is a week early. but i had a bundle of changes that are in a complete state and i'd rather release these now so i can start on some other stuff. So here is a changelog for this update.



Added a visual effect for transformations. As your head transforms your eyes also change to match the creature your transforming into. For instance wolfs are yellow-blue color blind so the screen will change to reflect that. (pictured above)

Some change of plans

Things have gotten rather hectic for me in the last few days. in my area i've been having major wildfire problems, so i haven't been too productive lately. And because of that i'm going to be shifting around what i'm working on. Transformation survival will be put on hiatus for a bit and i'll work on transformation dungeon in the meantime. i'm tentatively hoping to release an update on the 6th but it might be delayed until the 13th.

The next build is here! This time focusing on the biome system some more and completing its look and feel. The most important part is music.

i added a total of 12 tracks this update! the reason why i was able to add so much is because they weren't made my me. i gotten from this amazing asset pack by Abstraction. i recommend checking out the rest of the soundtrack that i didn't use. it's really good stuff.

Build 0.5.2p is here. This time featuring a biomes. There is currently no gameplay implications with these but some is coming soon. Changelog will be relatively short. (most of my time was spend doing pixel art)

Added Biomes. there are 5 in total. taking the stairs will lead you to a random one but this is subject to change. the biomes are the plains, ice, fire, caves, and crystal.

A new major update! 0.5.0p

This month of update as per usual have been a weird one. Wow, i actually meant to upload this earlier today. But this weeks update has to canceled. I got pretty horribly sick over the last few days and as a result not much is done this update. Pretty much i just gave the speed bonus that enemies have and gave it to the player if they are transforming into them. Ok, this time i uploaded the correct file. This is is a feature that probably should have been done sooner. We now have a proper main menu.
