Gauging interest

Considering recent events in the nerd world, I had a semi-random thought, and I thought I'd see what you guys' interest levels in it. Right now I'm not gonna get bogged down in too many details and minutiae, so just three generalized options.

Would you be interested in a tabletop game in the Devious World/Mundanity setting?

Next release on the 1st

I hate when the 1st is on a Wednesday and always have, it's the single most awkward day for determining a release schedule.

After giving it some thought, I decided to do the next game release (the public release) on the first anyway. This will give me time to get some more things I've got in mind written for it, and will also mean that the next incremental after it (on the tenth) will be meatier than usual. (Well, hopefully.)

So, yeah, as mentioned last week, due to the limitations of Twine I've split Devious World into male starting characters and female starting characters. There are several other methods of fixing this that people have proposed, but until those actually manifest as something workable, for now the main game will have to be split. Luckily it should be fairly easy to rejoin them if and when another solution is found.

Incremental: DW a79.1

Well, new year, new challenge. (Which is more optimistic than saying "new year, new problem".)

Devious World continues to outgrow Twine 1, leading to troubles compiling the final file; you'll notice Eric's redlinked this update, because the file compiled wrong if I included him. Since all the followups to Twine (especially Twine 2) are kind of "bleh" at best as far as my workflow is concerned, I have kind of limited options.

Ho ho hoes! We've got an update to both World and Mundanity this week, though Mundanity doesn't have much in the way of lewds, focusing on Michika picking up her new Cutlass drone. (But it's headed there!) Meanwhile over in World we've got some leadin for futa-on-male with Gwyn, Austin playing with the camera he found in the artifact box, also Austin at the hot springs resort, and Jamie discovering a new sort of purchase from the strange store downtown.

Well, this last week (and this month) was filled with distractions, both those beyond my control and self-inflicted. I wound up getting derailed from working on a lot of stuff I was excited to work on, and instead nudged onto the path of working on something else.

There, back on track a little. It's a bit on the light side since it was a slight struggle to get back to it this week... I'm still fending off the last of the crud and I had today stolen by errands, but I do think I'm getting back on track. Got lots of good ideas for the new Jack and Celeste stuff started with this update, just gotta get the brain to cooperate.

I did work a teeny bit on some new DM stuff while I was sick, but it wasn't enough to be worth a release, so I'll put that out...

Resuming updates

So I said this on the discord, but for those who aren't there or don't check it, last month wound up being kind of a wash. Just as I'd begun to recover from my time in the hospital and get used to my new meds so that I could write again, I got sick pretty bad and the rest of the month kind of went down the drain. I did skip the charge for September because of that.

I'm feeling much better now and getting back on track, though at this point I'm going to practically have to rebuild my wri...

Hey everyone, I said this on the Discord channel but for those who haven't seen it, aren't on there, whatever:

I actually spent the first part of this week in the hospital. I'm okay now, or rather I'm recovering. I'm definitely still a bit on the puny side so I'm just gonna hafta take this month as it comes and see how things go, but no update today.

Mostly I think I just need a bit of time to start feeling normal again and adjust to my new medication but we'll see how things go, ...
