Has anyone ever considered that when you have two political parties clawing each other's eyes out to get 51 percent, the obvious sane solution is to change the rules so that a third, fourth or fifth party can join the conversation, forcing everyone to compromise to get that 51 percent? I was buying gas today and I thought it was $3.89 a gallon, then I noticed that it was actually $3.89 and nine mills per gallon, so I decided not to fill up. They were trying to trick me into thinking it was $3.89 when it was truly almost $3.90. They were charging an extra nine mills.
