Update time!

The writing process for v 0.3 has begun. The third date for Jess has started to take shape, as well as a new city traveling story. It’s still rather early in the process and changes are likely to happen, but I’m going to try to get the artists going a little earlier this time around to avoid the bottle neck they had last version. The v 0.2.1 release has gone relatively well. While reception is still slow (to be fair, as slow as my dev process), it’s been generally positive. You all reported a few minor typos since the release. I’m going over them right now, but I’ll generally be rolling fixing them into the next release. So let’s talk about that for a moment.

Body Language 0.2.0 Bug Hunt Release!

Phoenix pulled off the unexpected and managed to complete Kats date art today. I’m going to take one extra day to implement the date into the game, as well as do my own run of QA. Short update this week as it’s another week with lots of "invisible" writing tasks. I’m a bit behind with Eve’s second date. It’s written, and it's a fun one. But It still needs some touch ups and edits and of course, implementation into the game. It’s been a somewhat busy week for me, but progress on the game is still going strong. I’ve completed the writing on Jess’s next date. I’m still waiting on a few pieces of art for it so instead of going right into implementation, I’m instead focused on writing Eve’s next date instead.

This week was thankfully uneventful. Writing on the various dates is progressing on schedule, with Jess’s second date already about half way done. I expect to get it fully written and into the game by next weekend. Phoenix should be done with the art for this date by next weekend as well.

So ah… this has been a bit of a crazy week hasn’t it? Like most people on the planet, my productivity wasn’t 100% this week for obvious reasons. I did manage to write up the skeleton for both the Jess and Eve dates. As well as handle some typos that were reported this week (thanks Gwaxer!)

Update time!

Early update this weekend since it was a rather busy week. As you know I built and released v 0.1.1 for Mac and Linux. I’ve also added some quality of life improvements like windowed mode for all builds and gesture support for the Android version. With no more major bugs reported I’m considering version 0.1 done.

This is a minor version that adds Official Mac and Linux builds, as well as gesture support for the Android version and general typo and bug fixes for all builds.

Update time!

The writing and editing of the second girls first date is done. I really like how it turned out! It plays with a kink I don't remember seeing used in a game before, so that should be fun. I’m currently in the process of putting the date into the game (managing branching dialogues, drawing backgrounds and sprites, and adding sound). Since all the art is already done, I figure this process will be done either today or tomorrow at the latest.

I think I have her voice down now. Which is why I’ve already started writing up her first date.
