Ah, Tuesday, that glorious Day When All The Things Happen. It's one of the reasons we moved the podcast from Tuesday to Wednesday — because otherwise All The Things would happen and almost everyone would be off podcasting, leaving only me, your humble narrator Liz, to deal with All The Things. This past weekend was filled with all the esports. Between Overwatch League, the Heroes of the Storm Global Championship, and the Hearthstone World Championship, it was a packed schedule where you could easily go from event to event without doing anything else over the weekend. I mostly stuck to Hearthstone, though, which is a game I actually understand enough of to enjoy watching. We're counting down the days... but it's a little tricky since we don't know exactly which day we're counting down to. Come on, Blizzard, help us out and give us a day to mark down on our calendar (and snag a vacation day for).
Well, now that we've gotten our regimented daily amount of mourning over not having a release date for the expansion, we can move right on to today's news.
When is Battle for Azeroth going to arrive?
Okay, we admit it. Despite our name, we are not actually experts on the weather. All we can say for sure is that it's cold outside, which means you should stay indoors and play video games this weekend. It's non-meteorologist approved entertainment!

Last week, Patreon announced they were changing the way their business works. Instead of creators paying finance charges on donations, it planned to make supporters pay instead. The proposed fees were particularly high for small supporters: anyone donating $1 would have seen a 40% upcharge with these changes. This punished people who could only contribute a couple dollars a month and that doesn’t allow a diverse community of backers at many different levels of support.
