[EARLY ACCESS] Looking Back At All PS4 Launch Games: Will PS5 Stack Up?

Hi Patrons, since Sony decided to drop the trophy changes and PS5 teardown today, a video covering that news took priority over the planned Wednesday upload I had. But it was prepared and ready to go, so for now - here's early access to that video! This topic goes over the entire PS4 launch lineup, and comparing it to the confirmed games we have so far for PS5. Hope you all enjoy!

Also just a note: I'm behind on updating Patreon outro credits to reflect the month of October so I will have this corrected for LTPS on Friday. Apologies!

[EARLY ACCESS] Looking Back At All PS4 Launch Games: Will PS5 Stack Up?

Vaporware... “Darkborn, aka Project Wight” I’m still disappointed with the news of that game being suspended/cancelled. That game developer “The Outsiders” has/had lots of talent hopefully they can share something on a new project soon.

The world needs to go back to normal I am missing PlayStation experience and E3

J-tight from the tester season 3

Another game that’s not launch but I’m excited for is Riders Republic, I loved steep and the price for us in the UK was £25 literally a couple weeks after it came out, maybe because it was a flop? I hope this game has enough content for the price tag come February next year.

dude ive loved them so much ive been platinuming them & i dont platinum many games i only have 7 the thing is i never got a platinum on PS3 but ps4 is where it has begun heh

HellSpartan Z

Yeah it seems the second game is where they started going in the right direction. Glad you enjoy it!

Ryan Biniecki

oh dude i wasnt knocking what u said too most of us agree with u the first game was really rough & drab looking & u can see how much they changed going into AC2 & thats where most of us fell in love with AC

HellSpartan Z

It wasn't a knock towards the entire franchise, just more so the first game which was a little rough around the edges. And the first game can really make or break the potential for the publisher exploring sequels.

Ryan Biniecki

Skull and Bones looked so cool, I was starting to worry the project was turning into vaporware. I'm STILL hopeful we see something like Deep Down too.

Ryan Biniecki

Definitely feel that, for the last decade or so I've really gravitated to casual experiences or games that aren't a huge time sink. And that's not to say I don't play the heavy hitter, more grittier stuff, I just get to it when I can.

Ryan Biniecki

As I was editing this I was like 'doh', should have mentioned no pun intended hahaha.

Ryan Biniecki

Dude Assassin creed its got a huge fan base im one of them i dont think they would kept making them after Ezio story if they knew people wasn't gonna buy them but we do we buy every game & we have our fun with them

HellSpartan Z

Nice video Ryan! I was surprised by assassin‘s creed longevity as well. I do have to admit Black flag is still one of my favorites. The naval battle play had me hooked 😂. I’m still hopeful Ubisoft can finish “Skull and Bones” sometime I thought it looked promising at 2017 E3.

When I went to try to preorder a PS5 (they were out) there was actually a guy that went just to preorder Sackboy for PS4 which was interesting. I hope the game finds an audience!

I’ve actually moved from Xbox to PS5 mainly for the fact the games that art coming like Sackboy are going to be what I’d like to play with my girlfriend. Now being older like yourself I love tech and want to have the next thing but don’t have the real time to be a hardcore fan so it’s really appealed to me while 5 years+ ago all I was after was call of duty etc no real exclusives or story mode games. Now I don’t play much online but I’m still getting black ops Cold War as it looks good and I’ll never leave the franchise

"Contrast was in the shadows" funny considering the core gameplay mechanic involves shadows. I actually played that game and enjoyed it.
