2019 Roadmap
Added 2019-01-03 12:24:14 +0000 UTCHello all, and welcome to 2019. Hope you all had a lovely Christmas and New Year, and I hope you are looking forward to some new Historigraph videos in the coming weeks, because they are well on the way.
As mentioned before the festive period, we are opening 2019 with a series on the Overlord campaign from June-Dec 1944. This will be probably four videos covering events from before D-Day through to the Battle of the Bulge.
As promised, this series will be delivered free of any commercial sponsorship, supported solely by your support on Patreon.
The approximate schedule for this series is as follows:
Episode 1: The Build Up to D-Day- 12th Jan
Episode 2: D-Day – 26th Jan
Episode 3: Battle for Normandy – 23rd Feb
Episode 4: From Normandy to the Bulge: 23rd March.
Now the most eagle-eyed among you will notice this leaves gaps in February and March for other videos to be made, and its these additional videos that I intend to support by gaining a sponsor as the two videos in December had.
To choose the topic for these two videos (one in march and one in February) I will be opening a poll for silver patrons and above in the next day or so. The results of this poll will be the basis for deciding what to make when, though with the usual variables of the amount of research needed to make it, and whether a sponsor is interested in it.
As far as polls go, at some point in the near future I will also open one to start narrowing down options for the next ‘big’ video/series like the D-Day one- the front runner at the moment is the invasion of Greece, but we’ll see.
New Patron Tiers
As I outlined in November, I’m intending to refresh and expand the Patron tiers imminently. The next poll will be the last one under the current system, with the change in tiers likely to happen by the end of this weekend.
