Pocket Turntable?!
Added 2020-09-18 15:16:52 +0000 UTCMy father-in-law found this Mighty Tiny Record Player and gifted it to me a few years ago. It was apparently the "World's Smallest Record Player". It is from 1967! The box is disintegrating. I find the cover image disturbing. It came packaged with 3 Mighty Tiny records and ran on 1 AA battery.
The records were, as advertised, TINY! Just enough to fit a short 15-20 second song. Talk about short attention spans!
There was also a series of records you could collect. If you collected them all and had 2 of these machines you could do a continuous 10 minute set!

They also had accessories. That's a Mighty Tiny record case! You gotta stay organized when your records are tiny. They were easy to lose due to their immense tininess.

So there you have it! The smallest record player in the world! Currently this one is non-functioning. :/ I'm going to take it apart and try to fix it this weekend. Hopefully in time to demo it for you at the September Pizza Break! Come join us!
