Winter is coming, Links, Customizing your Patreon experience!

Hello Everyone!

First off, a big thank you for your support. It continues to be a joy connecting with all of you here. I've actually felt this community and platform have helped provide a better schedule and structure to my work especially during these months spent off the road. Quite simply, I feel very grateful for the opportunity. 

Here are some updates!

1) Corinne and I just made this new trailer for the Space Cadet book (link above).  Enjoy!  We learned that sometimes putting text on screen off-beat to the music is more compelling!  Who knew???!  Also, the thumbnail is one of my favorite pages in the book. It's of the robot shovelling snow. An activity which is right around the corner for us here in Montreal. 

2) There is now a BRAND NEW SHINY website at kidkoala.com built by our friends at 319 Heads. Have a click around!  It's fun and updated and works on all devices! You can even check out the timeline David put in there! 

3) The Kid Koala online shop is now open. Absolutely no pressure to buy anything, your support here is appreciated enough! Plus I know many of you already have everything there anyway. Part of benefits for New Fun Tier patrons is access to special storewide discounts. I need to update the patron coupon code each month so I'll do that in a post here every now and then. Again, not trying to hard sell, it's just something I'll have to do as part of my monthly post housekeeping and for the benefit of any new patrons that join us along the way. This month's code is FUNSTUFF 

We will be shipping all of the packages via Canada Post. The post office is a very pleasant 5 block walk from our workshop. So Corinne and I will be able to get our steps in and make sure we leave the building more often!  As you know we are very much a DIY cottage industry, and we have no control over the cost of shipping from Canada which isn't as competitive as say, Amazon.  But one of the perks of being a cottage industry is we'll be able to put your packages together by hand and if you need anything signed, or dedicated to someone for a special occasion, just let me know! 

4) Email notifications. I have too many! You have too many! We ALL have too many! I know I am active on this platform. More active than I am on other platforms. That was kind of the point really. BUT did you know you can customize your Patreon experience by selecting what notifications you'll receive? Patreon wrote a great article about customizing your email notifications.  

As you know, I post things: 

-Daily (Lens posts)

-Weekly (Music To Draw To Live Streams)

-Monthly (Audio/Video/Story posts and Pizza Break Hangouts)

But the point of this has always been for the fun factor, to continue working on projects and shows and share the process with you...  not to overwhelm inboxes!
