SnowStorm - Weekly Status 2022 #05

Hello everyone! I hope you are well.

First, I would like to thank all the supporters for this month, the newcomers and the regulars. 'Bokk!' as it is said in Norse ;).

I hope you enjoyed the last release of SnowStorm

I remind you that you can vote for some side contents you would like to see in the next update.

Right now, I haven't completely switched to SandStorm. I'm working 50/50 on both games. I have some ideas on SnowStorm that I would like to not forget, and I do not wish to rush the endings of SandStorm either, so working on both with a bit more time allows me to have some more perspective and hindsight. As it is a lot of individual events, it's not really a problem to switch from one to another. Currently, I have my main computer rendering stuff for one game, and my laptop (which has a decent GPU) rendering stuff for the other game, lol. Renders are progressing well, the script is a bit behind schedule.

What's the program for SnowStorm?

The plan is to make :

3 main events (common to all clans)
exclusive DR event (with Nox)
exclusive BB event (with Candrid)
exclusive WW event (with Astrja)
a few side events (I don't know how many, but at least the 2 winners from the poll)

What's the schedule of releases?

Atm, I'm not sure, because I could decide to make a release :

after the 3 main events (v0.1.3),
after the 3 exclusive events (v0.1.6),
after the 2 side events from the poll, (v0.1.8)
after several side events + intro of the next main event. (v0.2.0)

I have several possibilities and it goes from 'soon' to 'later'^^. I'll probably make a poll for that in the next SnowStorm weekly update, once the 3 main events have progressed well, so I can have an idea of your preferences regarding the compromise between delay and content for the next batch of updates.
