This idea was originally going to feature two generic cop characters, but I figured for some added spice I’d make them strongly resemble Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman in Se7en (one of my favorite all time movies). I think it’s an appropriate amount of pop culture reference for this one, where the joke isn’t reliant in any way on the movie but it’s more of a nod that I know some people will recognize. Also it was pretty difficult to settle on the facial expression for the cop eating the chicken nugget. Had to sketch it a few different ways to make sure it translated without losing the goofiness.
