samus and dark samus epic revenge part 2: the fuckening (sketches)
Added 2024-03-05 05:00:03 +0000 UTCsoo i reorded the panels to be in a vertical order instead because that's more comic book-y and also looks better and more uniform!!! i'm thinking i'll do the whole thing b&w because i've already done two pages in b&w, i do want to color that one pin-up looking panel tho
wet shit role on discord ( you know who u are) said hair down sams would fuck. and it does!! i drew most of the panels with her ponytail so i gotta go back and fix those
only thing that's kinda clunky pacing-wise is how she goes from armor to zero suit but i'll just do 'a few moments later' panel or some shit, and have her discarded armor in the background in a shot or two. pin-up panel lowkey feels like it comes outta nowhere? i have some ideas to make that look better. also will make paneling borders more consistent, and make page 2 dark samus design consistent with other panels. her eyes are wayyy too rounded page 2 (funnily enough its closer to the actual design. but i like making her more FREAKY)
other than that, im happy with the rest and this shit is a-go. wasn't sure how to end it initially but i think the pump n dump works. i mean. she is revenge-fucking to begin with

2024-03-06 18:26:55 +0000 UTC#Excellent I am being fed. I was interested to see your choice to cut the dialogue from dark Samus and I definitely think it makes her spookier (good)! If you need a transition panel for the suit > zero suit, it does canonically kinda explode/shatter in-game with high damage. (see Dread death screens) It's Chozo tech so it's always seemed to me like something super advanced made of nano-bits that Samus can summon and dismiss with a thought, and the old official origin comics seem to support this, for whatever that's worth!
