God Of War Research
Added 2021-07-09 03:54:11 +0000 UTCSo these were the books I read during the research phase of Untangling God Of War. All excellent reads with a few different variations on the myths. Everyone has their own little flavours and interpretations but a lot of the core elements remain the same.
I strongly recommend starting with Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman. Super accessible and he really fleshes the characters out.

And—Full Circle—we met in the GB Discord!* Also, that Gaiman book there has been on my list for a while. I loved his short stories in Trigger Warning, and I want to read more of his stuff. * I was gonna make a Jörmungandr reference—instead of just saying Full Circle—but I have to get back to work... just... trust me, it woulda been a good one. ;) ☕️
