First of all, thank you for the reaction. I really like hearing your thoughts Yes, the laugh track is a hated part of the show but I think it’s worse in the first season and then it’s still present in the second through twelfth but they taper it a bit. There are some people who say it was shot in front of a live audience similar to how Friends and Seinfeld were but I don’t know about them. Also, the show has soooo many guest stars and references. It’s got video games, science fiction, comic books, etc. but yes there is a slant on the superheroes. Apparently before the show got picked up by a network, the writers had prepared DC jokes and Marvel jokes but when it was picked up by CBS which I believe is under the same umbrella as Warner Brothers, they needed to use more DC due to the network affiliations. Still there are jokes and I think a marvel guest star or two but I’d say maybe one Marvel joke to every 10 or 15 DC jokes. I feel like I can relate to the want for it to be the other company though. After years of not watching Marvel, I started watching the MCU late last year and went to see Deadpool and Wolverine. It was actually the first Marvel movie I had seen in the movie theaters since the last MaGuire Spiderman and I loved it, I think though that I only got 80% of the Easter eggs in that film though, if it was DC, I would have gotten 100% ** in thinking about it, after the first season they do have the laugh track but they play around with the sound balancing so it’s not as noticeable
