Due to the in-universe speed of "what just happened", and wanting to show before and after Catalina, I was somewhat limited in my ways of clearly showing it.
As such, I 100% cheated with overly-descriptive "sound effects", with "sound effects" in all of the air quotes.
LINES!
I misjudged the line thickness on this one, so if the lines look a little thin, that's why. This was something I only realized when, well, done, and the fix would have been, well, re-inking the entire thing.
I decided that probably wasn't the best use of my time, particularly since I really like panel two in spite of this. As such, I'm making the most of it by tossing the anecdote into this commentary. HOORAY!
