This is a hack of the American Sammy game Arkista's Ring for the NES. It's a complete game reskin that turns the game into a Zelda game, using graphics from Link's Awakening and Link To The Past.
It also incorporates my Status Screen hack, which you can find here:
ko-fi.com/s/d537ed196c
As well as my hack that causes the player to get the good ending every time, which you can find here:

This is a graphics hack and bug fix for the Nice Code FOAC Plug And Play port of Yar's Revenge for the NES. Pretty sure the original ROM was extracted from an Atari Flashback or similar plug-and-play device, but has been converted to fully work on NES hardware as a 16x8 24KB NROM. I've added a fancy title screen, fixed some missed sound channel initialization subroutines that cause the game to soft-lock when you die and some color palette glitches that make...

This is a hack of the Nintendo game Super Mario Bros for the NES which allows you to switch between regular Super Mario Bros and All-Night Nippon Super Mario Bros graphics at the title screen. It changes the Mapper from NROM to CNROM to accommodate the extra graphics. Enjoy!

This is a hack of Uresei Yatsura: Lum No Wedding Bell which builds off my English translation of it. It includes redrawn graphics, tones down the screen flashing effects, makes all of the invisible game items visible, makes Ushitora super jumps (which allow you to jump up entire floors when in Ushitora form) always unlocked, and increases the amount of time you have available in bonus rooms! The game is also fully converted to NES Mapper 3 CNROM from the Jaleco/Konami Famicom proprietary mapp...

This is a graphics and code overhaul of the Nice Code FOAC port of the Intellivison game TRON: DEADLY DISKS seen on the Intellivision Flashback and other Intellivision-related plug-and plays. It shrinks the ROM down from a bulky 56KB CNROM to a tight 24KB NROM, adds a fancy title screen and makes the player character more human looking while the enemies remain Intellivision "running men."

A graphics, sound and code hack of Robert L Bryant's homebrew "Nintencat: The Parody" which replaces all the graphics and digital sound samples with Garfield-related ones. More of an fun experiment than a game but I think it turned out alright.

Yeah I know it's kind of... unconventional to release a free demo well after releasing the full game, but it makes its own perverse sense if you know the background of the project.

This is a hack of the Nice Code Plug-And-Play port of Intellivision TRON: DEADLY DISKS. I've streamlined the graphics, added a fancy title screen and whittled it down from a bulky 50K CNROM to a tight 24K NROM to make it easier to burn to cartridge. I do plan on building fancier hacks off of this eventually, but this will be the base ROM I work with.

Will very likely be releasing the full version of GRAVEYARD DUDE soon so to get everyone excited in advance I'm dropping off these experiments with inserting GRAVEYARD DUDE into multi-carts as well as THE GRAVEYARD, a complete overhaul hack of bootleg NES game Super Maruo that I turned into a sort of side story mini-game.

Made a hack of Onyanko Town where I added some Peanuts-style characters. Now the game has Snoopy chasing Woodstock through a chaotic city rather than a mother cat and a kitten. The sprites are cobbled together from a few Game Boy games (Snoopy's Magic Show, Snoopy no Hajimete no Otsukai, Snoopy Tennis).

This hack is a veritable showcase of how far I have come with hacking NES ROMS. This is a graphics and gameplay overhaul for the game Hokuto No Ken for the Famicom, many parts of which barely resemble the original game. Sprites, tiles and even the title screen have been redrawn or imported from later Hokuto No Ken games. Boss battles have been revamped, navigating the maze-like stages has been made easier and in-game Easter Eggs have been made less opaque. While you are here, check out all th...

Includes three builds of a bug fix patch I've been working on for Mad Max for the NES. The first fixes the issue with the final boss password leaving you in an unwinnable state, as well as some music-related bug fixes. The second converts all the in-game text to ASCII, and the third does all of that but also replaces the graphics of the title screen and opening crawl. Also included is a full annotated script of the game as well as a CHT file with important game variables and modifications not...
