Just a little one today, I spent a few hours this morning updating the files and folders for the December release (Adding the walls, which should now be the final versions), and january release (added the buckets etc, so its now complete!)
I also updated the original wall release, the window blocks that fit in the window holes now have thinner poles to make them an easier fit once cured and primed without trimming needed :)

Little update while things are in progress - the resin stained green again in my follow up attempt yesterday, luckily I only poured one tile to be safe and remade a few spares with the last disaster!
I'm running a retest now with much more sealing varnish and resin over the oil paint grime, I now suspect that is the culprit. No green so far, but we're only 1h into the cure, so fingers crossed!
If that goes smoothly I'll be able to finally go assembly line on the rem...

So bit of a big post here! Most of the STL files for these releases are ready, and the ones left need a few tweaks but Fabio is on holiday, so I thought I'd release what I could to you :)
Video wise, I've been making a lot of progress on resin, its taken a lot of experimentation as resin is the bane of a crafter's existence, and many ideas had to be scrapped or reworked, but I'm pretty happy with the result!

Just a minor thing that I'll drop in the video somewhere but is a nice update!
I usually just use nihilahk oxide over nuln oil'ed copper or bronze, and rub off the excess, but that doesn't quite get the effect I want on smooth areas, and also doesn't leave a great deal of texture.
So, I did the first random patchy dabbed layer using geek gaming super fine black sand (the volcanic stuff) mixed with the oxide. The results were really nice and quite quick to achieve...

Wow this is a lot of painting 😂 Not gonna lie, I underestimated this one a bit out of sheer enthusiasm to do this project all at once - it absolutely isnt necessary and you guys can probably do this one a chunk at a time and still get a lot out of it 😅
ANYWAY, I'm currently finishing painting batch 4 of 5, which you can see a bit in the background here, but the main images are of some (mostly) completed examples of empty sewers and sloped walls.

EDIT - you can thin the pro acryl 1:1 with airbrush thinner for the exact same effect, probably even more, the pigmentation is SO strong. this might actually not just be faster than craft paint, it might even POTENTIALLY be much the same price 😁
