When humans first arrived in Vol'dun, their oblivious nature was very apparent in this new environment with races they had never seen before. When you look into the reasons why the Deeprun Tram was built, you may see references to mutual defense, logistics, diplomacy, trade, and more. However, what is often overlooked is Stormwind's huge demand for big booty shortstacks from Ironforge.
