Once upon a time, a showmatch idea was had by... someone in the KWA tag team division. They wanted to get more eyes on doubles matches, and figured it made sense to cross over with one of the more popular fighters. They chose the champion at the time- Tal'naya, of coruse!

The theory was that watching the Tanaris Twins beat up the reigning champ would get a lot more interest in the duo, and thus the doubles leagues.
