Big Time Sensuality (Step by step)

This huge panel (even on the sheet of paper!) was a blast to draw. I pressured myself a lot cause I wanted to nail this complex pose in the scene. I'm pretty happy with the result. I didn't expect the massive arms of a smooth black guy being such a perfect match for our hero in this position.

About the background, I was unsure of the perspective: I cheated a bit with the actual wreckage to see some parts I wanted to show. The sky looks totally surreal, then again it's like the excitement &...

This is what the demon hero will look like in the project I work on with Patrick Fillion at the story. It's a real pleasure to draw him, translating his look, gear into my style. And of course, doing some coloring, even if it's not my forte, it changes my usual work.

LUST page 17 preview

I realized I don't share everytime here the stuff I post on my social networks, like quick pics of what I'm doing on the drawing table. So I'm gonna try to improve that. And you get to see the thing in a better rendering & better resolution.

Here you see the final sketch stage and the beginning of the final lines. I also marked clearly his hair line & beard, it eases things later for me when performing hair & shading.

Big HUSH! (Step by step)

I really enjoyed drawing this much anticipated panel of mine. I was excited to make them interact in such a odd way, between lust, excitement, fear and expectations.

What's funny between the latest stages is you can see I corrected some forgotten shadowed parts in the background, darken some others. It's typical of my art: so focused on the characters that the background, the surroundings are annoying accessories! XD

The angle is a bit extreme, I felt it especially when drawing the wall! But it seems I really love such things when you discover what I just finished creating today, haha!

I still divide the shading for each character. The contrast hairy / smooth is pretty and I feel like they make a perfect match.

You also notice it's a rare latest scene where I draw the sky. It reminded me of the earlier pages with the ocean. We almost forget about it in the action.

Biting lips (step by step)

Nothing to hide: this time I show you a process with a panel that failed at some point. This is simple: focusing on face expression, wanting to render the biting lips so bad, I was then carried away with the whole pose, complex obviously and I fucked up the body proportions in the perspective.

Who's the Boss now?! (Step by step)

This is what I call a very tricky panel: very interesting pose, forcefull, movement, sexyness, but soOo easy to fuck up!!

Luckily things went exactly how I imagined it first. I was a bit distracted with so many hands & fingers to draw: I focus a lot on such things and sometimes lose the track of the whole pose or worse: proportions.

I didn't plan to have such metallic wall originally and I see it as a big strenght in the scene: it identifies where they stand, and comes as a huge cont...

So, I kept this new character secret for a long time, I really wanted you guys to discover him when he's coming to the story. I worked little on him, it's pretty hard to go back to some pre-production stuff when you actually produce the new pages and promote the comic!

Wilton's Abs (Full step by step)

Still amazed how I went full throttle on this one, thinking first as a quick sketch, anatomy in mind.

Proof is I didn't scan the early sketch stage, but you get all the detailled coloring process. You can notice the soft light added on the flesh, then the pants. I learned not so long that it's necessary to make things pop, even when you keep the colors very basic as I do. Not my forte but I go for it anyway LOL

Wanking in the dark (step by step)

This is a very busy panel, so to speak. I like it a lot as we get back to the hero here, full background, part of foreground too. Although it's kinda a common pose, it's not that easy to draw.

As most of the panel has work on, I had to go piece by piece, as you see in this step by step, and not really one stage after the other as usual.

The opened pants is easier to imagine than to create LOL

It's a very good training to draw someone full length. It allows me to study more of the hairy body he can get. When drawing hair, I suddenly thought it's be good to have the upper hairy ass part drawing somekind of little horns, hehe! When you draw, sometimes you just don't know where it gets you.

French Kissin' (step by step)

This pose was exciting to perform: there's a mix of tenderness, sensuality and domination. It's a recipie I intend to keep for their sex scene and so far it's really working out.

Still into the contrast hairy / smooth for this couple. Love this view of an apocalyptic background from the crash site.
