Finally there! Never tired of this illustration which seems pretty sensual & tender out of the actual context of the comic. But you know better, right? XD
No particular difficulties here, although I rethink the hands touching & arms there. Still, drawing a face in that perspective (the hero) is a challenge.

Practicing the inking, it might turn well with the leather uniform. Playing again the Mass Effect games serie (I'm on the second title), I feel very inspired by the overall look & rendering. I hope to get something this striking in the end. Not to mention the storytelling, characters developement and romances. Oh, and the sex scenes will be much longer and, hum, detailled. You know me, right? XD

Almost kissing (Sunset variation)
If you follow me on the social networks, I post less often than before, for the multiple reasons I previously explained.
Promoting the last page, I went for a colorful mix, adding a hot sunset background, and applying a photo filter that warms up these two (like they did need a warm up when you read the comic, but whatever!). Several people praised the rendering you can guess through the LUST logo letters, so I decided to share the full image with you guys.

Hey, I told you I'll do it so this is the proof, haha! He's on my drawing table now, the famous second fanart you voted for. I'm not decided on the technic to use for the final mix, I guess graphite. Not sure if it's gonna get colors, we'll see. A balloon is missing: our hero says something here, hehe, I got the idea when searching references to draw the guy.

There's always a weird feeling for me at this point, when all is done BUT the hairy body. A part of me likes to see the detailled anatomy, muscles and veins, but the other part dies to see some hair where it should be!
This image was pretty hard to build and I still can't believe it went... smoothly, indeed! :-)
Angoulême 2019 comiccon
A few souvenirs from the exhausting 4-days comiccon, like the biggest one in France. Up you see me at the LGBT BD booth with some of my fellow artist buddies, the last pic is at the other booth in the main area with the huge publishers.
I made very interesting & unexpected meetings there, that can lead to very nice plans for my LUST comics series, and the future projects. Actually I have big events & big plans for this new year. More news to come!

This other character sports a prisoner suit, actually. So I decided to do quick colors in Photoshop. Must admit I enjoy the result & even doing it, hehe!
Fun fact: as it's written with my signature, I drawn these in the plane that was taking me to Paris! It's the very first time I ever drawn in the air, woohoo!
Second fun fact: the face is inspired by the cute airline steward, his beard and lovely expression were easy to catch on the paper!

As you may know, I was pretty busy promoting my art & comics these past weeks, with some excellent results. I get back to you soon with a debrief, the rewards & news.
I had some time to work on the story in progress for LUST 3, also this sci-fi project. I sketched & inked some conceptual art on the characters, you get to see them in the next days.

To celebrate finally the end of these long weeks of promoting my comics, just landing back on my island today, this is the most remarkable sign I made lately. I asked my artist colleague Marialexie the character she wanna get for the signing on her LUST comicbook 2. She told me rightaway:

Okay, as usual this shows how I can work HARD on the muscles rendering for the hero's arm, the hairy parts cover so much!
Still I rather the hair also cause it contrasts pretty nicely with Silk's soft skin. What do you think?

It's funny to get the background done before all the rest: there's like a ghost atmosphere, soon gone when the characters got their shading.

This one's pretty long, I spent lots of time on it so I want you to see the whole process. As I've been told, it might be long to load, sorry for that.
I detailled the shading, scanning each stage. I worked hard on this part and the final rendering is perfect as I had in mind. You also see how the special effects were actually hand drawn too before wroking them at the last time on Photoshop.

Got this one in my folders, amongst other creative processes I got for you. With the inked art, there's always such wide jump with the sketch stage. Let's not forget the massive amount of hair! Lately I got the chance to train my inking skills with a serie of lovely drawings for an association here, so I guess my next adult drawings using ink will be a lot better!

So, 2018 was quite a ride. The main focus for me was to create LUST as a comicbook series, and to have a successful Patreon page, as I saw many talented gay artists creating adult content having a real audience & fans supporting them.
