And here you get the full ink I sent to the colorist. Detailled inking + cross-hatching, but pretty light. I worked on lots of layers, as usual, which helps for the coloring process. I'll show you the video step by step too, but only for this part as I didn't handle the colors :-)

This is how I prepared the promo poster: first with the naked bodies. That's how I still go for the first pages, so you're about to see more of our new heroes this way.
At that point I had various finished rendering in mind, but I let lots of room to my fabulous colorist Hernán on the final version you discovered lately.

I didn't think to go further after the inking for this one, but it needed correction on the eye & I wanted to train a bit more the cross-hatching. Funny how the dirty touch gives me the contrast to separate walls & break the perfect lines I got in the background.

And here is the final fanart for Isaiah! After the full ink last time, I tried to bring the coloring in the cross-hatching way, matching the inking I performed there. I tested a blurry version, just to see & compare to a classic smooth coloring, shading.

Oh I took so much pleasure drawing this one. I learned a lot too & I guess that was a turning point: I felt better how my new comic could turned out. I'm so pleased to give you more info soon :-)
I was going for something dark in the rendering, it fits well for a full black & white project, but the final comic will be full colors, so I trained more with a lighter inked shading.

Big ass, tight hole. (That could be the name of a pron movie, if it's not already the case LOL)
For this week's Humpday, I wanted to draw you a *little* something that was supposed to be a fancy sketch of this new character of mine. But, and it's really a BIG butt obviously, I got carried away in training the inking, then well, the shadows featuring good ol' cross-hatching! And yeah, even the background.

Finally the full creative process for this panel, in all its size & glory. I really love the curves & movement it gets, how the man is pissed off, can't handle it.
Lately I really wonder if I can match the years of learning to render this traditionally, in a digital way with Procreate. We'll see that later, got a new comic for you coming soon!

Humpday walking, for once a character pays attention to the sign! XD
Once again I did a sketch for study of the costume he's gonna wear in the comic, BUTT I had to draw him naked, you understand, this was totally innocent at the sketch stage. But then, well, carried away I inked the whole scene!
Anyway I do need to see how the whole costume fits in the back, so this isn't over, hehe!

After the inking comes the body hair for the lovely character of Patrick! I did my best to match the wau he draws hair on this hunk. As you saw with the hair, I just gave a bit of detailing in the line with the face, around the beard.
Next step is full line art with background.

After the sketch comes the inking. Here I show you the final version, Patrick was kind enough to advice me on some corrections with the hand on his shoulder, a bit tiny on my first inking, hehe!
I really love giving a try on his character, he's so gorgeous. Next stage, hair!

I really really like this panel. First with the art, you can see I put a lot there & all the stages show. I was a bit surprised in the end with how I rendered the water flowing in the bottom right corner, but is it water actually?
I love this full length pose, with the movement of the arms, it's striking.

Happy Hump Day! I'm really thrilled to offer you this new study of the guy all done, I managed to work pretty quick on the cross-hatching & without reference (pause during lunch time at work!).
Plus I tested here for the very first time the balloon, hand written. It's all coming together nicely, I guess you see here what could be a panel from a page of the forthcoming comic.

This one should be a VIDEO process actually, but the program After Effects doesn't wanna allow me to export the 2 minutes vid properly: the original mp4 file from Procreate come with full black when playing. I hope to figure things out as it worked before and I don't see why it's not working here.
