Good evening y'all.

I was able to finish the chapter. I will say, oof, today was hard.

I'm not the strongest or fastest out there. But if there is one thing I can often have confidence in, it is my endurance.

Said endurance simply was not there today.

I have done the best I can to catch any mistakes, but I honestly am not certain I managed.

Writing Update 07/10/25

Good evening y'all.

Wanted to give you lot a heads up. I've decided on the course of action for the month.

Due to the ending of Saving Yourself last week, the side story didn't get updated. So there won't be a poll this update cycle, at the end of it, I'll write a chapter for He Who Fights Demons.

The reason for that being, if I write the side story, the week after that will be Kaiju Slaying, and I'd have to wait a whole-ass week longer after that to unveil my next ...

Writing Update 09/29/25

Good evening y'all.

I'mma be honest. I tried. I really did.

I did make an honest attempt at switching gears so I could maintain my usual update schedule. But it's impossible.

So I woke up this morning to a notice that the chapter is hidden because it doesn't meet Patreon guidelines.
I don't actually have a detailed report of what specifically made that happen, just a notice that I have to change it. Admittedly, the chapter is on the spicier side, so frankly, I'm just gonna have to, essentially, Space Battlesify it.

Thank you for your patience, and your words of encouragement. The dog's bloodwork is even further improved, and she's back to bothering me every time I try to write.

All is right in the world.

This past week was...not good. I got next to no writing done, and what little writing I got done I had to discard because it wasn't working.

Yesterday, I spent the better part of six hours trying to write this chapter, and barely managed six hundred words. So ...

Thank all that is holy. She is most likely going to be okay.

Her toxicity levels are on freefall. The proteins in her blood have normalized. And the liver enzymes in her blood went from almost thirteen times higher than normal, to only six times higher than normal, which most likely means her liver is not failing.

The vet assured me that we're most likely past the point of danger. Now we just need to coast until the meds finish doing their magic, and her levels get homeostatic aga...

This chapter fought me pretty hard, until I got to the last bit of the chapter, and then it finally flowed smoothly. Originally it was going to be even longer, but I reached a good stopping point, and I think it'll be better paced this way.
