My friend once compared leaving for a shooting with going on a first date. You make sure to be in a good headspace, you shave your legs, pick your outfits and hope for a matching vibe. This shoot was a full success, it was an absolute pleasure to create with Sebastian at this beautiful apartment, somewhere in Leipzig.

How relevant is it for a picture who the model is? I particularly love to disappear completely into the photographer's vision during the creative process and become one with it. My person as such becomes unimportant, only dedication and flow count. I recently had a conversation with a photographer about this very topic. Doreen was the first and only female photographer I ever worked with. It's so interesting how different and uniquely powerful this experience was. Don't get me wrong, I had great experiences with 98% of the men I worked with. Nevertheless, I felt seen and respected in a different way. And I was so much more nervous for some reason! I'd love to work with more female artists in the future as I feel that there is a lot potential for me to grow and evolve through being confronted with and inspire...
