Devotion with Ron Kuhwede

How relevant is it for a picture who the model is? I particularly love to disappear completely into the photographer's vision during the creative process and become one with it. My person as such becomes unimportant, only dedication and flow count. I recently had a conversation with a photographer about this very topic. In my opinion, the model only contributes 20-30% to the image, the essence of a photo (vision, planning, perspective, pressing the shutter at the right moment,...) is created by the photographer. That sounds passive and of course that‘s not the case with all work I've ever been involved in. The question remains too interesting not to ask. What do you think? How crucial is the WHO in a picture?
