It's been around 4 years since I've drawn this character. I originally created her back when I realized I was drawing too many white people. I also wanted a "cheesecake" character that I could draw for fun as Tomoe's design was getting out of hand...

Blaze Idle Animation

Complete! The idle is the most important character animation (as far as I'm concerned.) It defines the look of course, but also the starting point for all other animations, as well as their personality.

Making a little more sense now that there's some fire in there. You might notice that I cut down on some line detail in the forearms, abs and chest area. This is both to make animating easier and reduce visual density.

After having fun with the Young Samus drawing, I just had to draw Baiken again in a similar style.

Young (Academy) Samus

When you're having a rough week, there's only one thing to do: Draw Samus.

One of the few good things to come out of "Other M." I always felt like this hairstyle would make more sense inside of a helmet but I think people would lose their shit if they got rid of that ponytail.

This was originally going to be another quick sketch but I decided to just keep going and eventually ended up with this more realistic style. I used to draw this way all the time, but eventually went back to linear...
