Emergency Samus fanart

From "Metroid: Samus Returns". The varia suit design has the sleekness of the Other M suit combined with some of the chunkiness of the Prime one. I like! (though I don't love the 3DS graphics, you take what you can get!)

I wanted to try out a quick style so I'm not spending 15 hours on every little thing. I think this one took less than 2, though I wasn't counting.

Sandimas

An old character I haven't drawn in years, Sandimas! Originally inspired by the dark elves in Lineage II, her armor and weapons were actually inspired by Torchlight.

So Sandimas and Dizz tied in the recent poll. However one of those Dizz votes was mine from when I tried to edit the URL out of the options. So TECHNICALLY Sandimas won by a single vote. (OOOPS)

Anyways, here's the sketch! Years ago I had named some of my characters in a few different MMO's "Sandimas," so I figured her personality and appearance should be one of an adventurer/pirate always in search of loot. Oh and someone willing to kill thousands of people and creatures for insignificant amo...

So I was going to draw Kagero again for the first Yuri image (goal met, woooo thanks!) but I wanted to see what you guys thought about a different Fire Emblem pairing. I opened the poll up to everyone but the uncensored image will be for the $10 "risque" tier only. Let me know what you think!

Yoko Littner

Gurren Lagann is one of my favorite shows. I have more art books and figures for it than anything I can think of. I usually don't like to draw fanart from stuff I love unless I can do it justice. So I guess it took a while before I was ready to draw something like this.

Originally I grabbed a couple photos of girls holding rifles as a reference, but then I realized this was Gurren Lagann and you don't FUCK. AROUND. when it comes to drawing Gurren Lagann.

Sorry, I'm a little excited with this one. GL is hugely influential on my art, my animation, and multiple aspects of Project: RUDRA. Hopefully I'll dig this half as much tomorrow when I get some fresh eyes on it.

Rudra update

Just wanted to give a quick update as there's been a nice update to how Buster controls. Basically  his shots and movement now feel like they should (very similar to Samus meets Sonic). Once the glitches and animation hiccups are fixed, I'm hoping to show him off!

Eliza (SFW sketch)

and a lil bit of outline too! This one will have a regular and a nude version like Morrigan. I decided to sketch out the clothes first and ignore them for the initial outline. Still trying to find the best approach for these types of things.

I've been so busy with work and slicing my fingers up with mail/air conditioners that this is a bit later than I expected! I decided to go with a nice saturated brown for the starting lineart this time. Changing little things up with every piece is how you learn and get better! (the more you know...)

I had to do a couple sketches for this one, so I'm showing both! I started the second by tracing over the first, finding the parts I wanted to keep and then changing what needed fixing. I had her legs completely different initially in the second sketch but didn't bother showing that here.
