Fifth Patreon Appreciation

CH2 Preview

Hello all. If you've joined since 1st December (which is nearly all of you), you'll notice there are some previews for Chapter 3, but none for the upcoming Chapter 2 (ETA Feb 2024). This is because all my existing Patreon's pre-1st December had already played a demo, which included Chapter 2... so all the previews were for their benefit.

Development Blog - December 2023

Hey all.

It’s been a full on few days since the release of the first chapter, but I have mostly had extremely positive feedback so to say I’m pleased is an understatement. And as a result, there’s a whole bunch of new people who’ll be reading this (hello!).

There have been a few bits of criticism, but only some of it justified, so I will be making some amendments where necessary (the chapter 1 fap scene will be made to be skippable for instance). Otherwise, we keep going.<...

Fourth Patreon Appreciation

For the sake of all the new patrons since yesterday, a while ago I promised to make a custom personalised render for the first five patrons to pledge, of a character of their choice.

It's here, finally.

After 11 months of hard work the first chapter of Origin Story is now officially released.

Download links will follow for paid patrons shortly.

Chapter 2 is estimated to follow in February 2024.

Development Blog - October 2023

Hey all,

I'm going away for a few days so thought I'd drop in a quick development update before I go quiet for a while.

Work on Chapter 3 is still progressing with now only two more conversational scenes and then a little hook to end the chapter with to pose, render and postwork. Once that's done I'll work on the music and audio, get it proofread and then it'll be time to start promoting and releasing. Eek!

Behind The Scenes: Designing Evelyn's Bedroom

Time for something different today. Here's a little bit of a behind the scenes sneak peek of environment design and my thought process behind it. 

I've got a pretty substantial scene in Evelyn's bedroom coming up soon (no you perv, not that kind of scene) so it was time to get designing the environment - which I've been doing the past couple of evenings.

I'm not a huge fan of using bog standard assets with no customization. I prefer to re-texture and decorate ...

The Assistant

I like my renders to have a little background detail in them to make the world feel lived in. Sometimes that might mean throwing up some posters on a bedroom wall for movies or bands that exist within the universe of Origin Story. Here's a render that I'll be using for a poster for the movie The Assistant. It's just a casual throwaway background thing that bears no significance to the story... though who knows, maybe you'll meet the movie's main star during it.

I'm going to start trying to do some more frequent development updates so you can see what I'm working on, and how far things are progressing.

I'm currently working on Chapter 3 which will be an important chapter, not because of the content in it, but because when I have finished it I'm going to start officially releasing and fully promoting Origin Story.
