My own custom tone mapping function

After quite a bit of experimentation with tone mapping functions, color spaces, etc. i have ended up with a highly usable combination of the above. The current mapping process is as follows:
HDR -> ACES input -> HSV conversion -> Saturation map -> RGB conversion -> RGB map -> ACES output -> clamping -> SDR image

Working with custom tonemapping

With the latest CSP preview we now have custom tonemapping support in Assetto Corsa. So finally we can overcome the limitations of built in Yebis functions, but more importantly, it is now possible to dynamically adjust the tone mapping function itself. So since last summer-ish, i've been focused on a new filter that i've called C13 AEGIS, since it's being made in colaboration with AEGIS VISUALS - an ac crew working on a fairly massive competitive multiplayer project that seeks to invigorate the online street racing scene. As visuals is in the name itself, i sought to bring something to the table that honors that focus on great looking gameplay and adds that little extra wow factor to the many live streams that AEGIS VISUALS puts on.
