I was really entertained by the latest Godzilla vs Kong installment premiered last week on HBO, so I thought I will enjoy creating a low poly cinematic scene once again. And it's a spoiler free scene don't worry :)
What do you think?

I had a plan to create some stylized textured building this week, to utilize sculpting and baking a little bit and try to recreate the style of the Blizzard games. As it often goes, what you start with is not necessarily the thing you end up with :)
As I was searching for some reference, between the buildings popped up an fantasy medieval interior render with ...

Having fun with textures and stylization while exploring a bit medieval and fantasy themes. Welcome to the home of Alchemist, what can I do for you?

This week I wanted to continue the stylized shop series, which began as isometric pizza place render. It's very similar to my other low poly works, but it uses bevels and smooth shading to deliver more playful style. At the same time, it uses really vibrant colors to support that look and feel.
So the only question was, what little shop deserves to be the next. Few ...

The next request on the stylized little shops list was a bike shop. As it happens, I know almost nothing about bikes, except how it feels to fly over your handlebars as a kid :)
I did my best, please be kind :D

What I like to do in cases like this, is to challenge myself and make it not only about the content, but the techniques as well. So if there are things I'm trying to learn, or try something new, it's a great motivation tool to suddenly feel like doing the thing on the waitlist.
Breaking Bad RV van is one of those things for me. I love the show and always wanted to d...

This one was long overdue and I wanted to do it for more than a year. Originally this was supposed to be low poly render but it got out of hand a bit. Breaking Bad is one of my all time favorite TV shows and I know it was hyped a lot already, but that attention to details is hard to beat.

There is a lot of buzz around NFT art (blockchain validated unique digital artworks) lately and I generally like to ride these popular themes, but in my own way. So I went a few years into the future and imagined, how this kind of art could be presented face to face and handed over as a physical puck containing a blockchain wallet.
I imagined it being able to show a...

Meet Ursula, new digital artist character. She enjoys creating NFT holo-art, goes by the nickname Dash and despises anyone who comments on her metallic T-shirt.
Is there any character you would like to see made?

Sometime last week, I saw a comment suggestion to make Perseverance mission diorama and sometimes it's all it takes to get inspired to create something. I've looked up some materials about the mission and started to think about what should it look like, what style would it fit the best and how I want to actually approach the model.
At the same time, I sta...

I was so excited to see the high resolution images from Mars and someone in the comments actually pointed out I should do the Perseverance tribute. I loved the idea so I tried to create s stylized and cute version of the rover.

I remember playing Settlers 2 on my old computer and just loving all those little houses and huts, all the craftsmen places and castles. I can still hear the sound of timber sawing and clingy blacksmith sounds.
There was almost no 3d games back in the day and all those sprites and assets were hand drawn pixel by pixel. Later, game artists used 3d software to prerend...

The last game style illustration of the blacksmith house had quite a success and you were asking for more so let's continue. What medieval settlement would it be without a lumber yard right?
Is there something you would you like to see next? :)

There are several scenes I have yet to add to this series and one of them was drive-in cinema. I finally felt a bit low poly last week so I started to prepare the new sequel. If you're not familiar with diesel punk, it stands on the premise of dystopian futuristic setting, where old design and culture meets advanced technology. It is often mixed with war background and aut...

I've jumped on the Peaky Blinders way into the show, when the series 5 was already out and I can't wait for another season. So much, that I just re-watched it recently and I instantly got inspired to create a part of the scene set.
It's very important to have some downtime from work, because that's the time when your brain processes everything in the backgroun...

I've re-watched the Peaky Blinders again and still can't believe I've discovered it so late. Exceptional characters and cast, writing, clever dialogues. I've tried to recreate the betting shop and I had to make some compromises to fit the layout.

I really don't know, what I would do without my list of ideas, that I have been building over the years. It's just instant inspiration. Yes, sometimes it can be tricky if you can't really decide what to pick, but I was always able to choose something, that I would enjoy.
That's probably the main reason I could do this consistently for so long, I mostly choose based ...

Arrrgh! This one was on my list for longer than I'm proud of. Since I lately enjoy returning to the flat shaded diorama goodness, let's sprinkle this bleak winter with some Caribbean vibes.
