"Kitchen Lesson", created in Procreate.
Though this piece was initially completed as a warm up, I finished it sooner than expected; it also provided several solutions to few art dilemmas I've recently faced, primarily how to distinguish the initial modeling phases from a final render.

For majority of January, I dedicated most of my time to a complete 18x24" oil painting in preparation for a showcase early next month, though I'm not highly satisfied by the results...I suppose I should be thankful it revealed several gaps in my abilities, but I wish I could've completed it sooner to apply the lesson to a different piece rather than indefinitely attempt to correct mistakes; for my own sanity and satisfaction, I need to paint at smaller scales to avoid another arduous, month-l...

My first attempt to depict a young protagonist for a new story I plan to write once Project B.E's first draft is finished, though I failed to accurately capture his likeness or proportions...
I've started to work on a new Ursine illustration, however, most of my time's been dedicated to completing a large oil painting for a competition in early February.
As always, I deeply appreciate your patience and support,

A narrative illustration of Songa and a young Alo in Keenda's Weald, created in Procreate.
Opportunities for visual symbolism and allusion in narrative illustrations far exceeded my expectations: in the earliest phases, it oddly felt like to a short-story's development, though I'm unsure if a detailed explanation should be given or if it's better left to others' interpretations, however since it's 2023's final piece, I'd like to shed insight on the most prominent themes.
A p...

I'm excited to share more about the inspiration and visual symbolism for this piece; since I'm no longer limited to single figure imagery, I can finally explore subtle, nuanced narratives, though it will naturally require more time than usual.
Your patience is deeply appreciated,

Though I'm unable to study directly at the best ateliers and academies, I should at least try to emulate proven painters while I await an opportunity; perhaps in hindsight, once I've learned from artists I highly esteem, I'll realize the benefits from my solitary practice, but I currently want little more than to experience a comprehensive education...
So my academic "hiatus" concludes: I'm excited to resume my fantastical work and test my, hopefully, newly acquired skill.

An academic study turned portrait for one of Project's TEOS more prominent, Polynesian characters, drawn with graphite on 11x14" Strathmore 400 paper.
I appreciate you patience while I work through my academically focused queue; they've taken more time than usual since I've delved into landscapes and narratives in preparation for the next illustration series, though the last two should be finished within the week.
Thanks again for your continued support,

A narrative illustration for Project Lullaby, created in Procreate.
"The Grievances" depicts Magano afore three intertwined serpents, each eager to extinguish the lone, azure light and marks the end of a four part series featuring the Tarrfi; together, I believe they successfully capture the bizarre, feverish, atimes hellish atmosphere prevalent in Magano's journey to best his greatest adversary...
Though I'm eager to begin a new series for a different project, for the sake ...

I'm unsure if I've ever mentioned it, but, since I was child, I've always loved Pokémon; even before I realized how restrictive and limited my life was, the idea of exploring the world alongside friends in pursuit of greatness always captivated me. As I grew older, I thought my fascination in the franchise would inevitably wane, but ideas I'd like to contribute still excite me...perhaps I'll pursue them someday when my stories have been successfully written and launched.
