Hey hi folks! The last two weeks have not been super productive aside from one thing:

MY NEXT BOOK IS WRITTEN

...now it's off to editing and art! Phew! This is a departure from my usual style and a shorter story too, and despite all this it still took me a long time to write. Granted, I was recovering from major surgery a lot of the time, so that didn't help much. But it's written! And will be available in the coming weeks, hopefully! And on that note...

Hey hi folks!

Gosh it feels good to be productive again, albeit at a reduced pace. I sent out the Kickstarter surveys! And made a cute Emilynn sticker for my shop! And drew stuff and started working on upcoming stories again!!!

I'm pretty stoked. And still tired. But a little less so every day!

I'm especially eager to start streaming regularly again, and gosh do I have plans for that. But I also have to remind myself to take it easy; recovering from major surgery takes time, turns ...

May 20th to June 2nd

Hey hi folks!

It'll be a quick update this time, but suffice it to say: recovery is going well! I finally have a couple more hours in the day and I'm starting to be able to work on stuff again.

First things first, kickstarter stuff! I'll be preparing Substitute Familiar for print and organizing the whole fulfillment part of it. I'll also be working on the stretch goal stories and (hopefully) finishing up that small light novel I've been teasing.

I am extremely tired; good gosh healing from major surgery takes a LOT out of you. I have very little time every day after all my mandated recovery exercises and the odd outdoor activity I can take to help my health. It's way more than I anticipated, and I anticipated a bunch!

Hey hi folks! Substitute Familiar is out!! And people seem to like it?? Oh my gosh I'm so relieved.

I've been doing my best to do the promotion thing and also prepare the print run kickstarter. The higher page count means it'll have to be perfect-bound (which means a higher pricetag and a different print company), but the result should be the fanciest book I've made yet! I'm excited to get that off the ground soon! As always, I'll keep you posted. ^^

Good gosh, running a Kickstarter—even a small one—takes a lot out of you.

It lasted only two weeks, but the Kickstarter for the print edition of Cat Wishes ended at 879% funded and that's amazing, holy crap! Being a light novel author is now a thing I can do, and that's... more than I thought I could hope for, honestly!
