Pretty chill episode, our selected few (and party crasher) have now returned!! I wasn’t expecting a practice match with Date Tech but I imagine it is going to be a sweet match to watch especially with the fuel Date Tech has acquired ever since the qualifiers 🔥 I’m ready to see Hinata put his new skills to the test! In addition, I would say I am most interested in learning about this new “little giant” 👀

I do not know ANYTHING about farming so I honestly was just as amazed by the process as Thorfinn was 😂 There is a much softer tone that I am seeing from Snake compared to Askeladd, this has me really excited on how it may come into play in the series. The time skip was sweet as well, our guys are looking great and friendship has blossomed 🥹

It’s Friday so I get to record 🔥 Listen I’m loving all the shows I’m reacting to but you best bet I’m starting the night on some Vinland FIRST so episode 8 here I come 😂

Little behind the scenes scoop: I normally can’t record on a weekday so I have to bulk record between shows on the weekend 🤭

Maybe I’ll capture what a recording/editing day looks like for a future “extra stuff with Yay” video 🤔

IT’S CANUTE!!! | Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 5 Reaction

This episode sure was political but I absolutely LOVED getting to see how Canute has been. It really shows the contrast of how season 1 events affected Canute in a different way compared to Thorfinn. I mean granted Canute has a bigger title to hold but still both men owe a level of gratitude to Askeladd's sacrifice.

I’m actually loving how they are keeping Hinata as the ball boy 😆 What do you guys think about my guess (during outro) of what I was able to gather from Tanaka and Coach Ukai’s advise for him? Did you also think the same way when you first watched the episode?

Also! The conversation between our coach and sensei were they implying that there was guilt because Hinata is not a more well rounded player?

My current 9-5 allows me to work at home from time to time but office days are very long. I'm talking 1.5 to 2 hour commute ONE WAY...

I'm too exhausted to "react" so I can't watch Vinland even though that is the only thing I want right now LOL

Just wow….this is my favorite episode so far. Continuing to hear Thorfinn’s night terrors DEVASTATE me but man that scene with Einar was done so beautifully! Seeing Einar himself also battling his own demons but willing to not go through with hurting Thorfinn was very brave of him. Also! I cannot believe I wasn’t confident in recognizing our guy Canute 😂

A bit of a slow start and even though it was at the last minute I still got to see Thorfinn!!! Our guy just looks dead inside honestly. I just REALLY hope we get his inner dialogue and understand how he got to this current situation. It doesn’t seem like he is an actual slave though. I was NOT expecting to get more of Tendo and especially not Ushi flashbacks. Tendo sure is a unique chapter and I still can’t pin point how I feel about the guy but cannot deny the talent! I never thought to question Ushi’s upbringing but am so glad we actually got a glimpse of it and how he interacts with his teammates. It actually made him more relatable honestly.
