WE'RE BACK!! | Haikyuu!! Season 4 Episode 5 Extended Reaction - Hunger

Pretty chill episode, our selected few (and party crasher) have now returned!! I wasn’t expecting a practice match with Date Tech but I imagine it is going to be a sweet match to watch especially with the fuel Date Tech has acquired ever since the qualifiers 🔥 I’m ready to see Hinata put his new skills to the test! In addition, I would say I am most interested in learning about this new “little giant” 👀

I appreciate the insight Bella! You’re right about Kageyama and Aoba 🤭

Also you can fly even higher scene 🫶🫶. Kageyama believes in Hinata %100 and Hinata is the one who accepts Kageyama for who he is, flaws and all as you'll see. so cute frfr

Well, Oikawa and Kageyama are rivals, but Oikawa also has respect and a bit of tenderness for Kageyama even if he won't admit to it, and Kageyama clearly admires Oikawa (and Iwaizumi, since he's quoted him so much and he also treats Hinata like how Iwa treats Oikawa if you pay attention to it lmao, he probably learned to treat the friend he's closest to that way because of Iwa and Oikawa's dynamic). As for Kindaichi/Kunimi and Kageyama, it's implied in the manga they got along in their first year of junior high up until Kageyama started yelling at them and insulting them. However, seeing Kageyama fit in so well with Hinata and Karasuno made Kindaichi felt like maybe he could've done things differently and so there's a little bit of guilt there more so than rivalry, but there is that rivalry as well. Kunimi doesn't really feel it as much, but it's implied to be there too, he just wants Kindaichi not to feel it as well which is why he says the things he says lmao. The Aoba Johsai/Kageyama dynamics are so interesting to me.

Feels like you’re not giving yourself enough credit. Having seen your progression throughout the series, I remember quite a few moments where you were able to accurately predict plays as they were about to occur. Just saying, I feel like you’re not far off as far as spectators go. So yeah, in regard to the “goody two shoes” thing, it’s kind of meant to be a bit confusing. I’d go into more detail but let me just say it’s something that will be touched on again so no worries if you don’t quite get it right now. As far as the scene when the coaches were discussing the players confusing their teams when they get back, it was more in regard to what the kids at the camp were learning about themselves and how they may find themselves wanting to branch off into different roles which isn’t encouraged as much at their level. Like Kageyama could easily fulfill the role of wing spiker but luckily enough his heart/head is with being a setter. It may not be the same for the others though. It’s that their time at the camp has opened their minds and changed them but depending on how their home teams are, it may be confusing trying to reintegrate back in. At least that was my read on it. And then there’s “onion” top/Kindaichi. (Kageyama’s former teammate from middle school) While there’s definitely a bit of rivalry between them, there’s also quite a bit of guilt he was feeling. He was apart of that traumatic event that haunted Kageyama throughout the first season after all but upon witnessing his change after their first official match with Karasuno, he had started to reconsider the actions he took when they were younger. All that said, the boys are all back and we’re getting back on the court next episode. I’m excited to see your reaction and if it’ll be what you expect
