All the new silhouette images for Step 1 moving to Step 2 are now finished. The next beta and the upcoming public demo update will have those plain colored silhouettes fully replaced with these prettier ones. Hooray!

And we've got another little update for all you today! It's not super long in terms of script content, but there have been a lot of neat miscellaneous improvements and additions.
What's New:
I made some mockups of the new character creation screen for our programmer! It will likely be at least a little different when added to the game and I'm not sure when it'll actually be functional, but you can get an idea of where we're going. It's got two pages now. We'll probably add a third page at some point to determine other features.

The artist is the one who made that new cut-in CG of Cliff we posted recently and they're about to start work on a second one.
The programmer will help put the basic script in the game. We'll still be adding the images, expressions, music, positioning, and so on. But there will ...

We're working on an overhaul of the MC customization feature. Here's an initial look into what we've got. It'll have all the same options as before, plus more! You can already see one of the new options, eye color~
But there's still plenty more stuff to add before it'll go into the game itself. We're going to double the amount of hairstyles and extras that the original had, at the very least.

You might have seen on our social media that we were hiring some guest artists to do promo pieces for the upcoming Kickstarter campaign. Here's a sketch of one that's currently being worked on! It's 18-year-old Cove at his very first job ❤. Though he can potentially work somewhere else or nowhere at all in Step 3.

We've got another quick poll for you guys. The Moment "Shopping" has a little Cut-In CG that shows off what charms you can pick from. We'd like many, though unfortunately not all, of the other Moments to have visuals like that. But since not every Moment will have one we're gonna let you all vote on which Moment you think should get that kind of extra touch.

Hey!
We're working on making various improvements to Our Life, including parts that are in the demo. One of the the most noticeable is the updated transitional images when you're going from one Step to the next.
The new versions are significantly prettier and more thematic, haha.
These should be included in the beta/public demo early next month, or maybe even this month. We'll see, though there's still a few more to go.
But feel free to let us know what you think...

Jeremy as a kid is definitely not a friendly character. He's always angry and causes tension wherever he goes. What a difficult mushroom head, haha.

We have some great news! The basics for a brand new feature in Our Life are working and we're excited to share it. This is the Voiced Name screen.
Like most of our previous games, Our Life will have partial voice acting. So Cove in each of his stages will have a voice to hear. And now if you pick one of the names listed on this screen Cove will say it in the game! So instead of lines like “Thanks...” where it trails off non-specifically, you can hear him say “Thanks [...
