It's grandpa time! We've got the third look for Mr. Baumann all finished. He's pretty snazzy.
Step 3 is a long ways off from actually being made, but right now it's best to keep working on sprites than it is to do CGs and since basically all the Step 1 and 2 sprites are finished, we get to move on to the next Step already.

Haha, what a flattering description. This is one of the neat new scene alterations you can get from playing the Derek DLC! His story even impacts Step 3 in some ways, even though Derek himself still doesn't appear in that Step.

You'll have to start a brand new file for Derek's beta content to unlock, but there is an option at the beginning to skip right to Step 2.

If you played the Cove Wedding DLC, you might remember that name. Xavier is the baker who creates your wedding cake for your special day with Mr. Holden, if you marry him! But Xavier is also a personal friend of Baxter after they connected through work and will appear in his DLC story. They're also four years older than Baxter, so five years older than the main cast. I hope you'll enjoy getting to spend some time with them ❤️️

Thank you so much for the patience on this! We've finally made enough progress with OL2 in between our Derek DLC work to put out an improved and expanded beta build. It's always fun when we get a chance chip away at the prologue. Things are really coming together 💕

That's a lot of side-eyeing, haha. All the characters originally had one eye layer looking to the side, but I decided to give the whole cast a second side eye in the other direction. That way they can be looking towards either side of the screen.
And here we can also see the entire cast, for Step 1 and 2, together! It's a pretty lovely bunch, I'd say. Currently, there's nothing left to do for Step 1 and 2 in terms of the sprites now. There will be some additional outfits needed ev...

Derek's Moments in Step 2 are all either done or close enough to done for me to put together the pieces for his Moment Select Screen! You'll be able to switch between two pages of events, the original with the Cove Moments and this one Derek's. I think it's pretty neat.
Siblings and Soiree are available in Tier 3 and up beta already. Responsible will be added to it soon ✨
