Hanging in the hideout! This location is a lot smaller than usual and based on an existing structure, so it had a color-based mockup made instead of the normal black and white sketch style.

Month End Post: March 2024 Wrap-Up

Hi everyone!

I'm writing this ahead of time. It'll be over a week later when the post actually goes live, haha. March wasn't a full month of development for me. All of my game progress ended back on the 22nd. I left for a trip on the 23rd. I won't be home until April 7th.

GB Lady Vacation Time!

Hey everyone. Today's post is to let you know it's the day I'm leaving on a two-week vacation. I'll be back home on April 7th, but I won't be doing game work again until the 8th or 9th.

OL2: Colorful Class Script Preview (Step 1)

Look at all those cute little alterations for heading towards school on a typical day. And that's not even all of them, you can also be running there and going without Tamarack and/or Qiu.

This is the reason things take so long writing this game. You take a concept as simple as "going to class", something that could be described in a couple hundred words or even just a couple sentences if the MC did it in a single way and instead you have to write over 2,000 words before the real event ...

GB Patch Discord Emote Poll: March 2024

Hi! Last month we got a new emote for Alicia, a side character in Our Life: Now & Forever. So, this time we'll have a supporting character from Our Life: Beginnings & Always. The poll will determine the Step version that's used and comments can be used to suggest specific characters. 

The emotion the emote is gonna have is: laughing and crying!

OL2: Rain Animation Update

The rain animation Shawna has made is now even more astounding and immersive! Along with different depths and intensity levels, it's got water splashes specifically on the parts of the ground where it makes sense for them to appear. That's an absurdly cool rain visual right there.

So last time, in the very first info post I made about Project W, I mentioned how it had a historical fantasy setting. Now I'm gonna share a bit more about what that means.
