Hopefully by now you have taken a look at Suki's latest animation.  If you don't have it yet and were expecting it leave me a private message.

I have a attached to this message a minor update to Talia.. Her oily skin problem has been resolved.  Ignore the seam on her chin.  I'll resolve that later. :D

Suki Sent Out to Many of You

If you paid for the deluxe version of Suki Grows & Lifts (#049 & #050), you should have it in your mailbox now.  Check your spam folder if it's not where it should be.  If you were expecting it but don't have it send me a private message and we'll sort it out.

I will send out the Flash versions tomorrow after I get some rest.

Meanwhile, I have an update on Talia for you all..  I learned some new lighting tricks and dare I say her render quality looks rather ...

Rendering Complete

I'm pleased to announce the rendering is finally complete.  I need to repair the frames damaged from those hanging frames... And then finalize sound effects.

Where is the animation?

Sorry it's taking so long.  Lightwave is estimating 17 hours remain.  There were some "problem frames."  The render was hanging on one frame before I noticed it was stuck.  One little bucket/section of the image was causing it to hang indefinitely.  I had to place a black square in front of this area to get the whole image to render.  Then I blended between the previous and next frames inside the problem area.  Never seen it do that before.  Should be s...

Islander Girl's Hair

What do you think of her hairdo from the previous post?  The stiffer frizzed hair is probably more authentic to the region, but I see others who have more traditional thinner straight feathered/hanging hair.  Should I keep this hair or would you like me to change it?

Yes!

Really happy with how this turned out.  I painted specular and gloss maps for her skin so her nose, ears and forehead are shinier than her cheeks, etc..  This effect will be most noticable when she is moving of course.  Hair next?

About That New Sculpt

Hello!

First of all, the current estimate for the completion of Suki's render is 2-3 days.

So..  I posted the results of a sculpting stream and then I posted another image after some more adjustments.  And the response has been silence.  And I get why..  It's very raw.  White eyes, simple skin.  I showed it to my girlfriend and she said, "That thing is creepy!"

But I think she has potential..  So for that reason I spent the evening...

Super Vascularity Test

Helloooo..

Still rendering away here.  But I wanted to try something.  One of you asked me if I could push the vascularity even further.  This is a rough test of what I call "Super Vascularity" and it is doing the vein displacement in two layers (using different images).  There is NO WAY this would be possible before my memory upgrade.  And I must add that a full body effect like this may still not be possible with 16 GB of memory.  It is most likely this c...

Suki Render Progress

We have just hit the midpoint in the total frames rendered.  Note after the rendering is complete I still need to add some sound effects.

16 Gigabytes!!!!

I've just doubled my memory!  I also boosted Suki's polygon count!  Only problem is my knuckle hurts.

I sliced open my knuckle on a heatsink while changing up the memory sticks.  I'll live.  Thanks everybody!!!

Render Progress and Musings

Hello!

I've got nothing better to do than to stare at my computer while it renders so I thought I would share some thoughts with you.

Frame 720 is rendering..  Out of a total of..roughly 5000.  It's going well.

Anyway, I was just seized with an idea that will let me make fuller hair styles.  So look forward to Suki getting a remastered hairstyle for her third animation.

I should have the rendering started within an hour.  I just need to make a chair for her to be sitting on at the start. :D

I was under the weather yesterday.  Feeling better but not 100% yet.  Suki is done, just finalizing the background and lighting before I start rendering.

I ordered the memory.  It will arrive between May 9th and May 14th.  Slow memory!

Investing in the Future (and the Present)

Hey all..

I wanted to thank all of you again for your incredible support.  This month was a pretty good one, many retro requests and while I don't have the money yet I do know what I will spend it on.

1. 8 GB of memory

This will double my memory and allow me to use higher resolution textures and higher polygon counts.  I've been needing this for a loooong time.  Anyone who sees my work and knows anything about making 3D animation should be significantly impres...

Shirt

I've just finished simming Suki's shirt and I love how it turned out.  There are a few (20?) frames I want to manually clean up with Metamorphic.  But other than that I'm lovin' it! (ba-da da da-dah!)

Good news

I've just seen Suki in her final form complete with breast expansion.  Turned out exactly as I planned. :D

Time to sim a shirt on those puppies.

As many of you are aware I am behind schedule.  On this animation I slipped further back a bit more instead of catching up like I did with the last few animations.  I think it is because this one is likely my most complex animation yet with both muscle growth and breast growth (and clothing and ripping and other things yet to be revealed).

Suki Update!

I've just finished simming Suki's boobies at her final size.. And they were giving me all kinds of problems.  I need to do some manual clean-up of the sim with Metamorphic so I'll let you know when that is done.

Ehrmehgerd!

Holy crap..  So as I mentioned I made 4 different breast sizes for Suki for the animation.  I finished the first size no problems.  Size 2 I had to do three times.. Twice with full clean-up work on it.  Oy..  What an ordeal.  I did get it all good in the end, and learned a new trick with my Metamorphic plugin.  Should come in handy for finishing sizes 3 and 4.

So this slowed me down some but hopefully the worst is behind me.  To be continued.

Suki Update

Okay I've just finished modeling four different sizes of Suki's breasts for the sequence..Each ready to go with Finite Element Method versions simming.  After I get some sleep I'll do the simming.
