Hi everyone! Thank you so much for your patience while I try to catch up with the work after hiatus! I'm currently wrapping up May goodie bags which will be sent out in the second half of this month š After that I'll be drawing the rewards for the Discord contest winners š„
This simple design will have a satin finish which will make it look extra cute šš During my work on it I realized that my drive to make small simple animation is slowly getting reanimated š
After warming up through working on some studies and figure drawings I tend to try and free hand some poses. It usually makes it way easier for me to come up with my own poses after working with some photos or life models š I'm debating if I should use the cutie on the lower right side of the page for a rough concept of a Fairy for a D&D campaign š
I post it slightly out of order, since it was my quick warm up session before working on a concept for a May goodie bag sketch "The Echo of self". I've decided to do a little twist and change the suited model's head to a one of a horned demon's š
I'm officially back from the hiatus and following the a winning theme of "The echo of self" I bring you a delayed sketch of the May goodie bags~š„ This one required a bit of a digital touch but I'm really happy with how it came out = v = / Soon I'll be posting a mock-up of a sticker in the same theme!

I'm still on hiatus but had a moment to do some doodles, so here it comes~ And yes, his little knob of a tail looks like a broken dick XD
While working on the colors of the new sticker I pressed "record" for you to later on see it in a speedpaint āØ There's a whole section that shows how I worked on the shadows just to drop it completely later on because it didn't serve the aesthetic I wanted. I didn't cut it out, because who knows, maybe it will be interesting to some of you š¤·āāļø

I had a little run through the Pinterest and ended up using some fashion photos to warm up before starting to get creative with my own imagination.
Thumbnailing some ideas for the sketch is my first step of making a print. They are low effort and let me explore a lot of ideas for composition very quickly. Some of them quickly prove that a pose I had in mind would be cool but maybe not in this one particular perspective, so I make a new take in another thumbnail.

I've noticed that after learning some basic information about the gesture lines and practicing it for a longer period - drawing subjects other than human body also becomes much easier. Since I remember, I always struggled with folds on the clothing, but after looking at the photos through the lens of gesture lines - it felt like drawing on cheat codes.
