also also something really cool I’m gonna add, onori’s bones are also black (partially)!) and the more bones he breaks, the darker they get after every heal. so only parts of him has darker bones.
at the same time, if I really went with the black bones (like from the get go), its possible that you’ll literally be able to see his bones on especially thin skin...

Hmm super cliche’ but I like the whole idea of this. I did 100% freehand the background and fiddled with the saturation to max. I simply wanted something quick and Using a 3d model (if I have one that matches what I want) will make me over think)

This humanoid actually has one of the strongest beaks, and it’s quite large too! doesnt really have much of a tongue? Largely a thick lower palette, reinforced and ridged. They also have smaller teeth in the back (as you can see) those are actually grinded down molars, though they keep regrowing, he always is eating very very hard foods, there always in use to grind the food. they also have “Teeth” down the throat to further rip it up. Sometimes they don’t all look alike, some have hair, some have tentacles for hair, some don’t even look as “human” as others. And sometimes they don’t look any thing like others squids (despite being so). Other cepholopods are in The same boat, as many of them aren’t particulaly uniquely identifiable in the mass of interwoven beings. (squid to octo, to nautilus, to vanilla human mixes all around)

not particularly much, time consumed me but nothing came out.  it’s a bit of low mood I am in, though I can’t always place why.  Despite it all, creation is my hobby, indulgence is my motivation. Ill try to scrap up what I have to make some things, hoping that ill have more as time marches forward.
