I have paused billing for this month as there won't be much for me to post. Modelling for Ivon has been completed and the script finalised. I'll spend my time on focusing on creating whats needed for the chapter to be implemented and then come back with some fresh updates once that's done.

Heyo fellow Residents!
Here an updated view of what's happening in Chapter 1 and the status of the "inventory" needed to get those scenes produced.
Shadow NPCs refer to untextured, black characters I am going to use for crowds and background characters.

The first draft for the script of Chapter 1 is completed and I have already reviewed it. Made some remarks and currently working it out with the writer. Once that is completed, the production of Chapter 1 can go full steam!
I am also currently talking to spxwlf.com to use their characters for Rivencliff! As their VRChat avatars are for personal use only, I'm talking to them about a custom license that allows ...
Took a while to got it working in engine, but now Kael's genitals can be controlled using Blend Shapes. This means I get to have nice sliders to move around instead of having to animate it by hand and export it every time.

Just testing out some scripts for choices in the game!
Originally the game was planned to be just linear gameplay, but I am exploring adding more choices to the game so there is more player agency and you can choose how the story plays out!
Definitely a bigger change in scope, but I think this will result in a more interesting game!
It's done! Will import him alongside with Biff into the engine now and post some renders later this week!

Lunjy's finally ready in the engine!

After it's been a while, I finally got some updates to share regarding the story of Rivencliff.
Below you'll find a rough version of the story plan for chapter 1. It still needs some tweaks, but should generally capture the setting for Chapter 1.

And here it is! Finally I've completed my first revision of visuals for Rivencliff!
A combination of cel shading & laplacian filtering for the outlines was used to achieve this effect. I am quite happy with it and look forward to create more art (finally lol).
I'll post a project update soon. Alts of this will be in a separate post.

Here they are! Finally in 8k resolution! Most of the details were kept with a few tweaks left to do, mostly on the technical side of things. Still debating about the eye color though.
