Party Saga Poster Extremely Limited Run ~PATRONS GET FIRST DIBS~

That's right, I decided to print the celebrated 12-hour party saga on some ridiculously sized paper (8.27" x 46.8"). THAT'S ALMOST 4 FEET IN LENGTH. Printed on 190gsm satin paper so they look REAL NICE. Only 5 have been printed and even if I end up printing more (unlikely). These first 5 will be the only ones that will be numbered. Of course, they will be signed too. THEY ARE £15 EACH.

Some image flip action going on here. I'm pretty bad at forgetting the 180 rule where you should try to have the people on the same side of the panel as much as possible to make things simpler to digest. Thanks to the text in the panels it's clear to see where I did that.

Haha jesus, comic drafts don't get much sketchier than this. This was one of those rare magical Deathbulge comics that didn't take much time to draw. The trouble with that is it leaves you more time to overthink and second guess yourself. Maybe that's why I often opt to do jokes that involve complicated visuals, so I have less time to worry about it haha. #BULGETHEORIES

Building Interiors

Not finished by any means + would be nice to shade stuff in real fancy like, we'll see. But yes here are some interior prototypes for the game.

One is of course a SALON, because not having one in a Deathbulge game would be beyond outrageous.

Early on there was a plan for a wrestler whose haircut was a long red rope which made it confusing whether the wrestler had been thrown over the rope or not.

HYPE + SNEAK PEEK for COMIC 400!

In about 11 hours I will begin posting comic 400, which will be yet another hourly comic saga posted to Twitter! It'll be the longest hourly comic yet. It will span from Monday 10am GMT to 3am Tuesday GMT. I have pretty much spent my entire week and then some on this due to how visually intensive it is through and through, but I'm confident I will be able to start posting it when the time comes!

Comic #399 EARLY RELEASE

Just finished next Monday's comic and for obvious reasons I am very happy with it and am too excited to hide it away for the whole weekend, so to celebrate, all you lovely patrons are getting a really early private viewing. BOOM.

Behind-the-Bulge 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY SPECIAL

I liked doing the 12 hour party saga a lot, people liked it a lot. So makes sense to DO MORE EH?

Attached is everything I did BEFORE the day of posting all the rows hourly. So all the proper linework/colouring/joke changes were done on the day. VERY STRESSFUL. In fact the strip due for 10PM that features Ian dunking the fireworks was actually finished dead on 9:59PM. Definitely the most intense drawing experience of recent memory.

13th June is Deathbulge's 5-year anniversary! WHOA!! So I'm gonna celebrate with another hourly comic thing cause I had a lot of fun with that format. Starting around midday GMT (that's 10.5 hours from now).

The hourly comic will centre around Ian the Fisherman celebrating the milestone. (Without me of course because I'm too busy being locked in a coffin underground).

Animation Loops - Ian

Some new game animations HOT OFF THE PRESS. Maybe you recognise both the character and the instrument in play here ;). This is what i've been working on on and off for the last couple days. Really happy with how these came out!

And yes, I know double basses aren't meant to be held like normal basses, but the idea is that Ian is SO STRONG AND BUFF that he can hold it up with ease. (And without straps apparently).

Here's an early draft of the 12-hour comic. There were a few changes. I still like that first row joke though, maybe if there's an EXTENDED VERSION that will be in it.
