All my small humans are back in virtual learning again, starting this week, so my free time is going to be minimum. I'm going to focus on the comic fist and foremost to make sure I have a new one out every week.

And we are back! I did not get as much as I would have liked this week on other stuff, but I managed to get the comic done on time, and I'm releasing it early.

It's only a week into this third covid lockdown, and it's already taking its toll on my mental health. Will be nice once we are all vaccinated and can get on with some kind of normal routine again.

Jessica Preview

Here is a preview of the next comic, like I promised. The 'point at camera' setting reset on a bunch of these when I batch rendered them with a script. She should not be staring off into space like that. Since I need to go in and render everything again I might tweak some things and add a few extra poses. We will see.

Info Card Full Resolution Renders

White shirts are the worst to render, they tend to get washed out by the time you finish lighting the rest of the scene. This is made even worse on a white background like Patreon's, but these are the raw renders that I used to make the info cards. 

The only exception to that is Zoe. I had to make two renders of her get it working with her hoodie...

Well, this was another week of cutting it close. The constant changes in temperature through the day here during the spring are horrible for giving me headaches and migraines, and those, in turn, make focusing on creative writing hard to focus on. 

I think next week I'm going to take a bit of a break from the comic release to get caught up since I still need to redo a bunch of renders for the next several comics due to errors with the script I used to do batch renders.

So I never did figure out a good way to make a PDF. The plugin for IrfanView keeps giving me errors for some reason, and I just did not have the time or patience to try and figure it out last week.

Regardless, the comic moves on, and things should start progressing a bit faster for the next few releases.
