Just a heads up.

I totally forgot today is a holiday up here where I am. With things being busy with the home life, I have not had a chance to finalize the comic layout.

I have my renders and writing done, I just need to throw is all into my image editor and lay it out.

Spider, Man No More (TF/TG Story Collab)

I did a collaboration with F4pp3r2 on a Spider-Man TF/TG caption/story. Myself doing renders, and F4pp3r2 handling the writing. I made up a few alternate covers renders that I thought I would give you early access to.

These are of course all inspired by the famous Secret War's Issue #8 cover with the first appearance of Spidey's black suit.

Red vs Blue (Early Access)

This is a scene I had set up back in 2017 but never got around to rendering it. I did this in about 6 render passes and spent a good hour compositing it all together in GIMP.

I'm going to put a 720 version up on my other social media accounts (Twitter, DA, HF, )around the middle of the month but patrons get the 1080 version now.

I wonder if anyone is going to use this for their desktop background.

Working on something Different this month.

With the lockdown where I am, I have not been getting as much time alone to work on things and larger complex images take a lot of time to plan set up, and render.

So to give me some small breaks between pulling out my hair trying to figure out Ren'Py coding, I'm currently working on a series of TF images that I plan to start releasing one at a time. Big Tiddy Goth Girl (Weight map Push Modifiers in DAZ)

I've been playing around with painting weight maps to try and get the effect of clothing pushing into the skin. It's something that I've only seen a few 3D artists do when dealing with expansion content, but I've always loved the effect.

Painting in 3D space does take some getting used to, so I'm practicing on some one-off characters before tacking any major scenes for the game.

Pushing it close for this month's render, and with how busy the rest of my month is looking, I decided to go a bit quick and dirty with it.

Whenever I grab new models, I typically start maxing out morphs on them, to see how the skin textures look when stretched. As a result, I have a lot of hyper pregnant one-off scrap renders on my hard drive. Sometimes, I like to take those scenes and polish them up a bit.

Lighting & Layers

On top of the amount of time it takes to render an image, I also have the task of figuring out the lighting for all my scenes.  Now a lot of modern Visual Novel games will give you simple images for each scene, the creator having rendered out each scene as a single image or animation. Traditional hand-drawn VN's on the other hand often used separate backgrounds, and then sprites for their characters.

Ren'Py has built-in layers for displaying these character sprites and background...
