Sleepless Nights - 09

Here we go! Act 2 of Sleepless Nights is a go...

That background in panel 1 took up the most time on this page...even though it's mostly just flat shapes and texture. Even so, I'm happy with the way the little corner of the hangar facility turned out.

Thanks to Ozawk for helping me out again with the technical, mechanic jargon to make what Kaila is saying believable. It's nice to have friends that do different things for a living!

I totally forgot to add Jasper's fin-piercings here ^_^;;. 

I'll add them during the inks process! Nothing much more to say about this pic other than holy crap did it take forever to sketch this one...the entire day  in fact. Not sure why, but I still think the angle on her torso is a bit off, or maybe it's just the way I drew her shirt? Yeah, I think that's it. I'll keep an eye on that as I move forward as well. ...

The next scene of Sleepless nights takes place the next day in the hangar/shipyard where Tsenaya works. Jasper is doing his best to pay back Kaila for not giving her that reach-around she's owed from "Pride in your Work". Being a supervisor, Kaila gets all the perks, including an office in the admin building she and Jasper can sneak off to whenever they don't feel like locking themselves in sub torpedo bays.

Patreon Report: August Update

Now that I’m back from Eurofurence, it’s time to get to work on making the latter half of this year a productive one! Unfortunately, I’ve brought back with me a little souvenir in the form of a pretty nasty cold, so it’ll be a few days before I can start slinging pixels again, but as soon as I’m well I intend to get to work on a secondary comic which the Pharaohs will be giving me input on once I make the appropriate post.

Sleepless Nights- Act 2 Costumes

Alrighty! Now that the dream sequence is over, we can get to act 2 of “Sleepless Nights”, where Jasper and Kaila make their next appearance.

Hopefully the next act will be a little bit lighter hearted as the two decide on how to help their colleague, but I wanted to show the costumes I’ll be using for this sequence, which will take place in a maintenance hangar similar to the one seen in “Pride in your Work”.
