Good news: I'm finally approaching the end of that massive project I've been plugging away at, so I'll be able to dedicate more time to the comic again!

Just a heads up though, I've been dedicating most of my time to that so I could get it out the door, and unfortunately that means I've been slowly eating away at my buffer throughout February. HD #15 preview

Whoa, Wednesday snuck right up on me!! I'm tied up with work meetings today and realized I never queued up today's update in advance last night, but luckily I still have the photo on my phone — I usually take a picture of the finished comic and then drop it into Clip Studio to fix the levels so we end up with a clear black and white image, but before that, this is what the comics look like on the actual page, LOL. I'll have the "clean" version uploaded later today when I have time.

Been cooking up a new character for a bit... meet January "Jan" Eismann, Danae's roommate and (possibly) coworker. Why is she named January? It's not that interesting of a story, according to her, and she prefers that you just call her Jan, thank you very much! 

Jan won't show up for a bit, but we'll cross paths with her eventually. She's sort of the counterpart to Charlie's Rachael...but she's a bit more of an oddball. Looking forward to properly introducing her soon!

I've been bogged down with a lot of commissions and day job nonsense, so I haven't had much time to throw any extras up on here lately. I'm hoping maybe in a couple of weeks I'll be able to get back to posting extra sketches weekly again!

Finally in the home stretch with this project...as you can see, there's gonna be a background happening for this one too! I'm sure you can probably tell what it is already, but I don't want to show it off until everything is in place :) I'm hoping to have the whole thing done in a couple more days...

A new project....?

Well, not exactly new...I've been chipping away at this for months now, but since I've been given permission to use these drawings for personal stuff in addition to the project, I think I'm safe to share some WIP content here! For the record, there's a LOT more where this came from...I'll share a few more here and there while I'm on my comic hiatus.

The Process

Hey! Decided to show a bit more of my process this week (I actually forget if I shared anything like this yet, haha)

I start by drafting the comic out in Storyboard Pro! This is the only part of the process where I draw digitally, just so I can sketch out ideas without wasting paper -- as you can see, these two were gonna be in the store for a few more updates, but I decided to scrap the idea (for now) because I really wanted a change of scenery and to move some other aspects of the sto...

Hey guys!!! You might've already seen this on Twitter but after next week I'll be taking a short break from updating the comic. Between the holidays and various other projects I'm involved in, I need to take some time off from updating to make sure I don't fall behind!

Just so we're clear though, I'll still be working on the comic during the break! I plan on writing some stories between now and next January, and I may even be able to share some WIPs in here too, so look forward to that!...

Super ancient Hedgehog's Dilemma concept sketches!

Was wondering what to post up today and realized I have some of my oldest concept art for these two sitting right under my nose! And also under a big pile of papers at my work desk, to be more specific.

The second page is particularly interesting — while I was workshopping ideas for these characters, at one point I was considering making a Game & Watch-styled game where you catch floppy disks (kind of like a simplified version of Oil Panic). You can even see my chicken scratch off...

Yet another sketch dump

Another hedgehog-heavy sketch dump this week! I did draw some ponies this week too, but alas, they're for a private commission project that I'm not at liberty to share just yet!
