Chronicles of Acorn Alpha Demo Early Access(Closed)

So I was thinkin', would you Sonic tier nd up folks enjoy a special Early Access build of the demo? It's gonna be missin a few assets we got planned for Friday, but it wouldn't hurt to try the game out in it's current state if ya wanted :P

Friday's version will more polished and finalized for the full release to all patrons, but I figured why not give ya'll very generous supporters some love? :P

The level design is finished, we might replace some assets with new on...

Hiya folks! More news for ya! This time a basic concept map layout for the Great Forest. :) It's a lot bigger than it might look! In the game it'll be divided into sections, the left most area is Western Great Forest, which is where ya'll are gonna be playin in the upcoming demo! It's actually the legit first area of the game, but I'm probably not gonna put in any story just yet. We'll see though!

Nicole Idle Animation WIP

This is the rough animation for Nicole's Idle animation, which will be seen in the battle portions of the game. The left was his first take on her, which is a little more menacing and powerful, the WIP on the right is after a few tweaks to make her a little more cute and graceful. Crazy how just a few minor tweaks can change the overall feel of a character. xD

Shelby helped us out with designing the original Sally battle sprite, jeez...more than half a year ago now, crazy how time flys!...

While I chip away slowly at the Jenny Pinup (sorry bout the long wait), figured I'd share something our sprite artists have been finishing for us. ^_^

You've seen this sprite several times now, but I don't think we ever shared the finished animation of it. This is the newest take on the animation, since the old one felt a little jagged and rickety, this one has a lot of nice flow and weight to it. She looks ready to smash some bots! :)

Game News

Sprites! Sprites! and more sprites! We're very hard at work on these, we have a few guys workin on them for us, and we'll have a ton to show you soon :) it's so awesome and exciting. But when oh when! Will SOMETHING be playable Team Acorn! Come on! :P

Wow! this is awesome :) seriously, Sallyhot and I are very grateful to all of you guyz for the support but we didn't expect to hit 100 so quickly after announcing the game!

Bunnie Battle sprite WIP

Here's a little glimpse into the battle sprite for Bunnie. Little work still to go into it, still needs to be animated and such, but she's lookin good so far. ^_^ 

The battle sprites is where we'll be putting a lot of our budget focus for the next little while, creating animations for each new attack and status ailment.  Since the battles will make up a lot of the core gameplay,  we're really shooting to get the best looking battles, as well as fun, that we can! :)

Title and News update!

Hey again! Sallyhot here bringing  ya some news, and this fancy little title I whipped up...never really played around much with the 3D functions in Photoshop before now, it's kinda neat actually! Hope you like it!  ^_^

Yup! ^^ Our Project T-Party finally has a name, and a setting that is set in stone. 

The game is in fact starring Princess Sally as the lead, along with her friends Bunnie, Nicole, and Fiona, with my own character Kate as a cameo :P

There WILL be dudes in the game, though they'll first need to be rescued and they're going to be playable as support only, not in actual battle.
