Little more time

I'm unable to finish the animation for this week, i underestimated how much work i have left to do. On top of that i've been having some rough days so i'll just delay the animation 2 weeks forward, that should be enough time.

Second part is done. I'm off to finish up a commission I've been really late on, so this month won't be as "rich" in content, however i do have 2 smaller animations in the works for this month. Both of them are gonna be solo, meant to be more of a show-off for Bulk first and Elias after. You'll get to see them both in a more "personal" setting.

Elias & Bulk 1 - Extra Angle

Just found out i was color correcting the render with the "Nigh light" filter on, so i couldn't tell how blue tinted the render was. Replaced the original angle to be less blue now so should be fine.

Also i might reconsider replacing the extra angles with something more unique like alternate animation in the same vibe as the main angle. For some poses it's kind of hard to make the second angle as good as the main one.

Elias & Bulk 1 - Early Access

First one's done. Little late because of some rendering issues but it's here. Big guy for now will have a placeholder name of "Bulk" but later down the line i'll give him a proper name alongside a small makeover. Was also working on a more "twink" like skullhead but i'm not really happy with the design at the moment so i'll keep experimenting.

Second angle will release tomorrow or the day after, still need to render it out.

Update on things + Patreon currency change

Hey, first things first, i have changed the currency in which Patreon charges for pledges from $USD to €EURO. For everyone that is currently pledged this doesn't change anything, your prices will stay the same, however new people and ones that decide to cancel and rejoin later this means roughly a 30% increase. This is due to the US dollar significantly dropping in value compared to my local currency in the last 2 years, so i had to readjust.

Going forward, i will be trying my best to post 1 proper animation each month. I know it's not the old schedule of 2 per month but i want to make it easy for myself at the moment. I'll be using the rest of my time to mess around with other things like that alt account i've made.

It is also lower quality than my usual stuff, with very limited sound work and no extra angles. It's just a quick doodle basically.

Rundown of what happened this year

Hey, first things first, I'm back. Starting today i will be going back to my old posting schedule (New animation every 2 weeks).

Kicking it off with Thunder as i needed a refresher on animation again. Next 2 animations will be 2 Elias animations that i promised long time ago, they are both about half way done so you should see them both this month.

It will take me a little while to pick up my work on all the new characters since they haven't been touched in around 6 months but ...

Hey, wanted to apologize for radio silence again. My mental health has been spiraling downwards for a long time now. I've been diagnosed with depression and have been recently going to therapy. I will also be prescribed medication soon. While things won't get better quickly, i at least hope that it will improve over time with therapy and meds.

Unfortunately i can't promise anything when it comes to posting art on a consistent schedule at this point in time but i will try my best to at...

Apologies for just sort of leaving for 2 months and posting anything. Here's the Kaiman animation i did to get back on track again.

I will now move on to working on the Elias animation that won last pool. I'm also going to attempt and take in 1 or 2 commissions so i can offset the whole month of going to the vet recently, if you're interested, i will open a form on my Twitter soon so keep a lookout on it, it's not first come first serve so don't rush.

Adapting to my new schedule proved way more difficult than i expected, however i'm slowly starting to get more control over my day. I decided to start a new animation as trying to work on the Elias ones i showed over a month ago was a bit confusing.

Hope you'll enjoy Kaiman for the time being, and don't worry, i will work on the Elias animations right after this one, just needed to get a feeling for my workflow again as i didn't really touch Blender for a long time.

Won't quite make it on 18th with the animation, still getting used to the new place and new schedule and on top of that my ferret has been having eating problems, vet checkup went fine so it seems like just a change of environment stressing him out.

My apologies for the further delays, the move wasn't as smooth as i expected so for now i'll just take it easy and try to get the next animation done by the end of this month.

Back to arting

Fully moved in to my new place and have pretty much everything ready. It took a bit longer than expected so the delay will be a bit longer. I'll be aiming to release the Elias animation on 18th this month.
